This was the perfect place to stay while sightseeing in Yosemite for a couple of days. It's only a couple of miles form one of the western entrances whish was really nice. The rooms were nice and the views of the river from our balcony were stunning. It was nice having pools and hot tubs to relax after a long in the park. We enjoyed the restaurants, especially the breakfast buffet.

Garbage bags just sitting outside of the rooms. There is no internet. There is no cell service. There is WiFi but it’s so slow you can’t do anything. If you have T-Mobile or AT&T, there is zero service. The rooms are definitely old, the bedding is at least 10yrs old it has visible wear and tear. The water pressure is pretty low. Everything appeared to be clean. Balcony on the river is nice but this is a budget hotel not what they amp it up to be online. At best these rooms shouldn’t go above $200 a night during peak season. I paid $360. They also charge $6 additional tax per day which isn’t stated here on Expedia. There are no elevators to the 2nd level of rooms so if you have a lot of luggage requests floor unit. Actually just stay elsewhere if possible. I know it’s close to the park but you’re not getting what you pay for. Breakfast is $21/person it’s a buffet, the food was good tho and plenty of options. I don’t recommend this place unless you really feel you don’t have another option.

The great part is the location. By Yosemite standards this lodge is right next door. We had considered AirB&Bs that claimed to be close to Yosemite. Close in this country is a relative term. But this property is literally less than 10 minutes from the gate. We ate at both restaurants on site and thought the food was just OK. The bottom line, when visiting Yosemite is that it’s best to consider food as fuel. Don’t be expect a great dining experience. Eat simple and go enjoy the park.

Convenient: Highly Rated. If you are wanting to be as close to the Yosemite NP valley as possible without being inside the park, you have found it. However, please take note that you will be paying good money for the convenience. Employees: Highly rated. Very attentive and always answering even the dumbest of questions with a smile and thoroughness to make sure that you are satisfied. Hotel: Not so highly rated: The hotel is dated and everything in it is dated (at least in my room it was). The layout is very strange. There is an outside window that goes for the bathroom without a curtain? It has that 1970's frosted glass over it, but you still can make out images if you walk by the bathroom at night with the light on in the bathroom. There is block glass that is in the "spa" tub to the rest of the room. The block glass is warped but you can definitely make out shapes through it. Basically you have no privacy in the bathroom from inside or outside. The "spa" tub was outdated and worthless in my mind. The shower heads did not provide the needed flow of water to bathe properly. Needs to be updated for a walk in shower with better conveniences. Overall, stains on floor and on comforter when I arrived. Restaurants: Nice convenience. Pizza and sit down restaurants on site.
