－Ticket Info－

JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass: Unlimited local train rides (non-reserved seats) for JR East Japan (Kanto, Northeast Region) and JR Hokkaido (Dōnan). Easy transportation from Narita Airport (NRT)/Haneda Airport (HND) to Tokyo, or New Chitose Airport (CTS) to Sapporo. Guests may also enjoy unlimited Shinkansen & Special Express rides for transportation between Greater Tokyo Area and Aomori/Sendai. Guests may ride Shinkansen between Tokyo and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto as well.

Validity Period: Guests are required to designate the date of use upon redemption (within 30 days of redemption), 6 consecutive days from the start date
* If a guest purchased 2 passes, both passes cannot be redeemed on the same day. The guest can only redeem the second pass after the first pass has expired

For seat reservation, please present the JR PASS to JR East Japan or JR Hokkaido's green ticket counters/designated ticket machines. Seat reservation is only allowed when a JR PASS has been successfully redeemed.

Sendai Airport Transit Line: Including reserved seats in ordinary cars on ordinary trains, special Express (Shinkansen included), and limited express

You can also use ordinary trains (including rapid trains) on the Tobu Railway lines between Shimo-imaichi and Tōbu-nikkō / Kinugawa-onsen. Between Kurihashi and Shimo-imaichi, you can only use express trains that have through operations with Tobu Railway.*

Cannot Access:

When using JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass in Tobu Railway Lines, you may not use the pass if the departure or arrival station is not a JR station

You cannot use the JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass to travel on the Tokaido Shinkansen. (Because the Tokaido Shinkansen is operated by a different company)

You cannot board JR buses

You cannot use the South Hokkaido Railway Line (Goryōkaku - Kikonai)

You cannot use Green (First Class) cars, GranClass, private cars, LINER, sleeper cars

For use of Green (First Class) Cars, GranClass trains, private cars, LINER, and sleeper cars, an additional purchase of tickets for special express and sleeper cars is required
