"The Land Where Gods Descend" - Kamikochi
Kamikochi, located in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, is nestled in the deep mountains, surrounded by peaks like Yakedake and the Hotaka Mountains. The Azusa River flows through the area, creating a unique natural landscape. In summer, Kamikochi is a beloved resort in Japan, known for its pleasant climate and stunning alpine scenery. The most famous hiking route is "Taisho Pond–Kappa Bridge–Myojin Bridge." Beginners are encouraged to try the "Taisho Pond–Kappa Bridge" route, while experienced hikers can venture deeper from "Kappa Bridge to Myojin Bridge." Upon reaching Myojin Pond, you'll be rewarded with a view of a lake that resembles a fairyland.

※ When choosing a route, please measure your own ability and consider the time required for the return trip to prevent late return or injury.

Taisho Pond
Taisho Pond was formed naturally in 1915 after the eruption of Mount Yakedake, which blocked part of the Azusa River, reshaping the local landscape. From the pond's shore, enjoy the breathtaking view of the distant Hodaka Mountains reflected on the water, creating a scene that feels like stepping into a fantasy world.

Kappa Bridge
Kappa Bridge is the most iconic landmark in Kamikochi, built from wood and spanning both sides of the Azusa River. The bridge offers different views as the weather changes, enhancing its charm. Featured frequently in the novel "Kappa" by renowned writer Akutagawa Ryunosuke, along with Taisho Pond, Kappa Bridge gained fame and became a signature scenic spot in Kamikochi.

Myojin Pond
To reach Myojin Pond, choose between two routes: one follows the left bank of the Azusa River upstream, and the other passes through Dakesawa Marsh. Upon reaching "Hodaka Shrine Okunomiya," you'll be greeted by the serene beauty of Myojin Pond. Often shrouded in morning mist, the area exudes a mysterious and solemn atmosphere, as if guarded by the gods, drawing many climbers to witness its enchanting allure.

Please confirm the following points before going to Kamimkochi

1. The temperature on the mountain can vary greatly, and sudden rain is common. Wear non-slip shoes and warm clothing, and bring a raincoat or umbrella.

2. Bring the following items just in case: hiking shoes, first aid supplies, dry food, and mineral water.

This product is available only for participants aged 4 and above. Children under 4 years old (0-3 years) cannot book the tour.

Car space is limited; each person is allowed one piece of large luggage.

This itinerary does not include a tour guide. The driver will inform you of the departure time at the rest stop and Kamikochi Bus Terminal. Confirm the time before exploring freely.
