Mercure Alger Aeroport

Rooms are very old and not comfortable. Property from outside looks good. From inside it's not good. No air conditioning, as hotel staff says it's winter. I had to open window which was noisy and sleep with minimal cloths as it was hot inside. Breakfast no food is available if you are not early. i will rather not stay with Mercure hotel in future but in other countries it's not that bad. 😞

Always stay here...but always same issues... Too old... And staffs are fine, but usually do not really answer the phone for housekeeping...and once ask for bringing sth to my room, it takes more than 30mins. But still, price is just good enough and location is also fine.

Très bon hotel avec d'excellents services mais une petite renovation des chambres, notamment des toilettes, serait un plus.

The shower was terrible. We changed rooms, the second room was just as bad. All of the shower heads were blocked with lime and dirt. Rough hotel. Needs updated

Very old facility...

Nous étions en train de boire un verre au bar lorsque mon amie s’est fait frapper par un homme alcoolisé. Elle a reçu un coup de poing dans le dos. J’ai crié au scandale car personne n’est intervenu !!!! La responsable m’a dit en ces termes : c’est normal qu’il soit alcoolisé puisqu’il est dans un bar il a donc le droit d’être bourré. Concernant votre amie pour le préjudice subit je peux lui offrir un café. On ne peut rien faire lorsqu’une femme se fait frapper c’est normal » Le barmaid n’est pas intervenu et m’a dit : moi j’ai rien vu donc je ne fais rien Les vigiles ont rigolé. J’ai demandé le remboursement de la chambre ça a été refusé. Mon amie est en état de choc. De plus l’hôtel accueille des prostitues à la vue de tout le monde ce qui m’a choquée. Aucune discrétion. La chambre est moyennement propre. La douche était excessivement sale. Pas possibilité de prendre un bain car il n’y a pas de bouchon pour la baignoire. La piscine n’était pas utilisable car « il a plu » Cet hôtel fut un cauchemar. Quel soulagement lorsque nous avons quitté les lieux. Je me suis sentie en insécurité totale. Bien évidemment j’ai des photos et des vidéos. Je n’en resterai pas là

das ganze Hotel ist toll, der Fahrstuhl ist etwas eigenwillig. was leider gar nicht geht, ist die Geräuschkulisse. Im Poolbereich, der sonst sehr schön ist, laufen irgendwelche Generatoren 24/7.

This hotel shows no attention to the customer and prefer to lose a customer rather than changing a reservation date. Will never book this hotel again because of this poor customer service.

My stay at Mercure was exceptional. The staff made me feel right at home. I stay at this hotel every time I am in Algiers and are on a first name basis with a lot of the team. Sure there are some quirks that are typically dealt with immediately, but overall I have 0 complaints. I will certainly continue to make this my number one choice when I am staying in the area.

I made this booking last minute due to a flight change. I was going to land around midnight and I tried calling to confirm airport shuttle and late check-in. Nobody picked up when I called the number supplied with my booking. I searched online and found an alternative number. The lady who picked up was extremely unhelpful and hang-up on me because she could not hear me well. I was speechless to say the least. I asked somebody else to call them and finally got a mobile number to call the shuttle driver although getting in touch with the hotel after landing was just as difficult! Things got better after arrival at the hotel. Check-in was speedy and Ayoub at reception was very helpful. The room was vintage and clean. Check-out the next morning was speedy and staff were efficient too. For a 4-star hotel, you would expect better service so it was a shame.

Hotel is very old almost 30-40 years, they did not change any equipment since this date. Most of rooms has awful smell, breakfast is very poor. I never suggest this hotel.
