Location is not central but has food and shops within walking distance.
The apartments are self contained so very useful.
Bathroom and beds are clean and comfortable.
Quality tea and coffee.
Washer/dryer is not the best but it is functionable.

For us it was a convenient location but would choose to stay in Woden. The room suited us well a a family quiet apart from the a rattling a/c noise. Was nice waking to the sunrise and also the cafe downstairs was good.

Property is in a good location, has a great little cafe. Unfortunately it does not offer parking which makes it expensive if you have a car and in the move. Rooms are basic for the price especially as there are no other facilities such as a gym or pool in the complex. The lifts are a nightmare, I have never seen so many people complaining about their lack of functionality. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Service on the rooms is only on Thursdays but you can restock on all items such as towels and coffee. Not a place to walk the streets late at night.

It was nice and clean- we got a room right in front of the lifts which was a bit noise so that’s not the best design but it’s wasn’t too often. The staff were lovely and it’s close to walk to the shops. The only parking is an open lot in front of the property which is paid during the week and free on weekends.

Utterly charmless property setup to suit the operation not to create an enjoyable stay. Restricted operating hours means the restaurant/bar is seldom open even on a Saturday at lunch time

The room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the afternoon/evening which was very disappointing as we didn’t want to go out for dinner.
The bed was not that comfortable either.

Very nice, comfortable and spacious room. Staff very friendly and helpful. A small Westfield shopping centre is only a 5 minute walk from the property.The only issue we had was that there is no parking at the property. There is 4 hour during the day paid parking across the road from Monday to Friday, but that can get expensive. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

I can never understand why there is only one chair (armchair type) in the room which is for two people. There was a desk chair, but in most rooms, there is only the one armchair for two people. It doesn't make sense.

There is no parking at the abode woden and there is not alway available paid parking across the road in the council parking lot. Abode no longer service the room daily which was a bit disappointing.

I have stayed at Abode Woden on numeroud occasions and will continue to do so in the future as one of my favs in Canberra. Big rooms, clean and tidy. Close to shops and cafes with the Hellenic Club across the road....doesnt get any better for a travelling worker.
