Adelaide Marriott Hotel

An excellent hotel that ticks all our boxes with high standard.

Thanks to Yukti for the excellent service and for making us feel very welcome. Thanks also to the kind Caucasian gentleman on duty for valet service between 15-18 Apr for always asking about our day when we and giving us lots of recommendations on where to go.

Maintenance and housekeeping at the bare minimum.

Central to CBD and quite and tucked away

Great location. Beautiful hotel although hardly slept from loud music at night & also the beds were sooo hard I experienced a lot of body pain.

The Adelaide Marriott is the latest 5* hotel to grace South Australia’s capital city. Set in the former city General Post Office, the hotel is an excellent mix of old and new, the facade retaining the original features of the Victorian era Post Office & the rooms modern and well designed. With it being set in the heart of the CBD, Adelaide’s premier shopping & eating venues are only a short walk away. The staff are extremely friendly & accomodating as you would expect with Marriott. Our stay included breakfast (and parking) with all tastes catered for including cold meats, cooked breakfasts, fruit, danish, bread and commercial Nespresso coffee machines. Our room faced the courtyard away from King William Street and Victoria Sq which meant our view consisted of tall office blocks as well as loud music from the restaurant which has been operating prior to the hotel opening for many years, I say loud, but I suggest environmental factors including the surrounding buildings have a large bearing on channeling the noise upwards. Parking for the hotel is off site, about 5 min walk, valet parking is available. The bars at the hotel were lovely with a great selection of local alcohol. there is also a gym and pool which was a plus for us. Ultimately we were impressed with the hotel but this was tempered by the loud music from the restaurant below, would we stay again? Yes but I would like to try a higher floor on the Vic Sq side.

Great property and actually better than expected

The nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long time - the rooms are very flash and I recommend the Club room! Always great services and well located. I have stayed at pretty much every hotel in Adelaide and this is my favourite for sure

Everything about the hotel was flawless. They arranged early check-in as my plans changed, the reception staff were so friendly and super helpful. The room was spotless, good use of space and finally a hotel with beds that feel like clouds. The coffee shop downstairs makes fantastic coffee too. Cant wait to stay again.

The best inner city hotel I’ve stayed at in Australia - decor and ambiance first rate. Had all the amenities you’d need and if they didn’t have it in the room were prompt in helping to provide it upon request. The wine bar was fabulous - would recommend it highly. We’ll definitely be back. Loved it!
