♥️Big love to @thealexhotel in Northbridge Perth. I’m done with 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotels and synthetic lobby fragrances hello allergies 🤧 this lil gem is a mighty hospo force combining inner city convenience and a minimal industrial energy. Stay here because it’s a vibe skip the checkin queues and snack on an anaconda or 2 at check in. Highly recommended.

Great location. Close to everything. Room was small and glass door to bathroom a negative.

Irish mid 30s stayed here while visiting my brother in Perth. Place was nice and clean. Nice ambience when you walk in. Bed was comfortable, lovely shower. Location was very central. Id stay here again

The location, staff, and everything about the Alex Hotel was perfect. Only negative factor was the nearby bar with live band playing late into the night. The hotel did provide earplugs.

初めてのパースで、他のホテルとの比較ができないので恐縮ですが、部屋の構造なのかかなり騒音が酷かったです。 部屋には耳栓も置いてあり、おそらく騒音に関してはホテル側も認識しているのだと思う。

Some comfortable hangout areas. Personality with decorating. Cleaning folks were were great. Desk staff not engaging or friendly. Noisy from 11-1 am (at least in my room).

An ok overnight in town. Room minimalistic and sharp essential oils smell pervaded. Commercial carpet in room. City view thru a grill. Extra charge for FW for breakfast and extra charge for breakfast. Very convenient location for East Perth meetings etc

Clean but just a very unappealing room and balcony had mesh over not really a city view like advertised

I checked out with two refreshment vouchers I got for declining housekeeping, but was charged the full amount without deduction. Texted the hotel about this on hotels.com and on its website but I don't get any reply. The hotel is comfy and staff are helpful, but it's in the vibrant area so it can be very noisy at night. Also there was a very loud party on the floor I stayed. If you prefer calm and silent environment, it's worth asking them to give you a room on a different floor.

Great place. Very central. Boutique feel. Free tea and coffee facilities on level 1 which is as a nice touch.

Mi è piaciuto tutto! La posizione a 5 Min dalla stazione dei treni e dall'università, per tanto una zona molto cosmopolita e giovanile, la pulizia della camera, impeccabile, il personale dell'hotel, tutti molto educati e gentili, sempre pronti ad aiutarti sia di giorno che di notte!!!

What a chilled lovely place to stay do close to the CBD. We were looked after by excellent staff. Room comfortable snd breakfast plentiful. . Help yourself to tea and coffee 24/7. Staff at reception 24/7. Lobby bar lovely. Rooftop bar is ok but most cocktails are from a tin. The Shadow restaurant next door does great cocktails and is owed by the same people.

Could use a chair in the room to sit on as there is nowhere to sit but that could be the idea. Also need to have water in the room. Could promote the breakfast a bit more when you book in. Otherwise very pleasant stay.

Bra plassering, god seng, men tunge dører, og støv på stanga i dusjen. Litt mye støy fra gata. Men veldig hyggelig hotell og en fantastisk takterrasse. Synd baren var stengt, men man kunne sitte der, så jeg tok med meg vinglasset mitt dit. Fikk vin på grunn av gullmedlemskap i hotels.com.

I know the desired "vibe" is that of a cozy, quaint accommodation, but I would rather have less cozy and more comfort and convenience. There's no mini fridge, and our room had only one chair. There was only a bar along the wall to hang clothes. The bathroom was quite large. I'd rather have less bathroom and more room. An upgrade was suggested at check-in for a room with a balcony, but as I saw from the outside, the balconies were tiny and IMO not worth the extra $. I have stayed in many hotels and motels, and I have never been charged for a continental breakfast. For $20+, the charge seemed way out of line - especially for such a limited selection. Having said all that, I really liked the sitting/lounge area. The access to a variety of complimentary beverages was much appreciated. The staff were very pleasant, and the location is very convenient for transportation and eats. It's a short walk to the CBD. As much as it seems I have complained, we did enjoy our stay. Still though, it wouldn't take much to make it an exceptional hotel. Make the rooms more accommodating - add a chair. Add a minifridge. Put in an armoire. Provide a complimentary continental breakfast. Really... those are little things that would make a big difference.

Staff were great … amenities not so much. We didn’t get the upgrade that we were supposed to as rewards members, but they tried to upsell us on an upgrade which we declined. Then we found out that there are no fridges in the rooms only a communal fridge which for the middle of Perth seems a little strange. Finally on getting to the room…. Let’s just say that you shouldn’t share the room with anyone that you aren’t intimately acquainted with because the toilet door is literally a piece of glass. There is no separation between bathroom and room except for that glass. Overall, it’s a decent stay but I’m not sure we will be back.
