Langley Park Apartments

The apartment on the 5th floor was absolutely great With ocean views and a balcony. The apartment was very spacious, clean and in a very good position. It was easy to get to with a lift directly from the covered carpark. It had all appliances needed including washing machine and dryer. The only recommendation is for the provision of dishwashing detergent and dishcloths as we were expected to have washed our dishes on exit.

The host Mike was friendly and helpful. The apartment had been renovated to a good standard; note it is quite an old building as are many in the Maroochydore area. The cleaning of the windows and the surfaces needs improvement. Value for money given the cost.

Enjoyed our stay, the host was very friendly and accomodating.

Easy to organise late check-in. Unit was clean and well appointed and easy walking distance to the beach, shops etc.

This is a quiet property, away from busy roads. The room was spacious, with plenty of amenities. Mike (At Reception) was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean, though a bit dated and a bit worn out in places, but for the price we paid that's not really an issue. My only complaints are that there is no heating (Nights are cool in autumn) and the TV only had free-to-air channels.

Building is getting on in age and there were some cleanliness issues. Construction on the new apartment block next door means noise and lack of privacy in your bedroom, site workers starting to arrive before 6.30 and materials clanging in high winds/storms. Our apartment felt old and weary (except for recent renos in the bathrooms), faint urine smell on the lounge, tv in kids room didn't work and our bedroom door wouldn't shut from movement/water damage swelling. Overall a good spot for a few nights, great location and friendly manager. Place is value for money but needs deep cleaning and tlc

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an accommodation. I had booked a deluxe two bedroom two bathroom apartment for myself and my brother in law as an essential stay prior to my sisters funeral. We arrived after hours, because of a delayed flight from New Zealand, and torrential rain a week after Cyclone Alfred. I agreed to phone on arrival to obtain keys. The signage was so poor I went into the wrong apartments. When I finally negotiated the correct apartments, even though the manager was on the premises he only directed me via phone to get to Reception, to collect keys, to negotiate an awkward car parking space, and inspect the premises - all while pouring rain, dark , unlit. treacherous tiled stairways to discover the most disgusting filthy room I have ever been in. Smelly, dirty bedspreads, 3 threadbare towels, three sachets of out of date coffee and tea , a collection of used opened assortment of previous tenants food , torn and tattered and dirty curtains or what was left of them on the windows , leaking doorways and windows , rain coming in dripping on floors, drawers filthy , utensils dirty, cupboards shoved with appliances stacked haphazardly, half empty toilet rolls, no wifi instructions, Clean sheets but poorly made beds, spider webs on the interior windows with dead blowflies caught in them , everywhere I looked I discovered more built grime! Too tired to negotiate anything - put up with it for one night - then vigorously complained.

It had great views of the beach

Property was very run down - e.g. ripped curtains, marks on couch, very old worn furniture. Had booked a family room but as we were a couple they'd locked the second room. Construction was going on next door, bits from construction had fallen in the pool - which was unusable.

While the location is brilliant - only a short stroll from the beach, restaurants and an IGA, with epic ocean views, the unit itself is in disrepair and in need of an overhaul. Scratched walls, moldy rusted curtains and fixtures, the balcony screen door had fallen off its rollers which was dangerous, especially around a toddler. There was no complimentary tea nor any dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher supplied. We were happy to hand wash crockery, just frustrating. The toaster didn’t work properly, the fan in one of the bedrooms had an old remote with the battery half-dead and the back of the remote missing, so the fan didn’t work properly. The balcony had mesh covering the bottom half of the fencing. The pool was sadly filthy and while it was advertised as heated, it wasn’t. Didn’t stop us hopping in but was disappointing. Upside: comfortable clean beds, a handy lift, great views, not too expensive at peak holiday time, close to necessities. Friendly reception staff. Just very, very basic.

The apartment had a strong odour. Very dirty in general, our feet were black from the floors, plates glasses were dirty. Bad phone coverage. Loose toilet seat. Only 1 air conditioner in lounge. Rusted curtain rails. Curtains don’t block out the light, so as soon as the sun is up so are you. Low height carpark 2m. Used dishwasher clothes and toilet paper rolls. Construction on new building only a couple of metres away. Very run down pool area, huge splintered timber and rust around the pool area, with no toilet, sand all in the bottom of the pool. Old building material left around the carpark. Our key was very hard to get to work for the lift. Good location with a good view.

Good location.No air-conditioning in main bedrooms.only fans were available. Property was not cleaned properly.

Good location. Rubbish and food left from previous guests. No bin liners,coffee sugar nothing to wipe down the bench. Apartment ok considering the age not the cleanest

The apartment was furnished beautifully, and had great views of the ocean. Unfortunately the bed was so horrible I slept on the couch. Also the strong winds made a loud howling noise through the windows which was as unbearable as the bed.

Located in an awesome area right across the street from the beach. Plenty of shops down the road. Sunshine plaza a short drive or walk away. The apartment could use a little upgrade but it was comfortable with a stunning view of the beach. Property manager is very nice and helpful too. Would definitely stay here again
