Mantra Hervey Bay

It was just perfect, had a lovely view of the Marina and staff were very accommodating to our needs.

The Unit was clean and the staff friendly, however the unit was dated. It took a long time for the water to become hot, there was no separate shower with a shower in bath which was too big a hurdel for my wife to oivercome. The toilet seat was new but musthave cost a dollar asit was so thin it creaked every time tou moved. The bedside lamps had no switch on them and were plugged in behind the bed,so impossible to use unless you moved the bed.Dont get me started on the slow WiFi and TV.

Great place to stay right at the marina. Easy walking distance to nearby cafes, restaurants and cruises. Only downfall was not being able to park on the secured gated carpark due to cleaning machines being stored there which meant parking in public carpark and lugging our belongs to our 3rd floor room

Location was great.

Clean and big 1 bedroom marina facing apartment. Great view. Friendly, helpful staff.

Check in time was more like 3.15pm not 2pm, no apologies. Wifi only available in reception, no vip perks with Expedia gold.

Staff was friendly and parking was good, I wouldn’t go back because the price was too high for what you get.

The missing star for 'Area around property' relates to some pathway in need of repair (safely fenced off), but this is being attended to, and the complex is being repainted (externally) as well, so I expect it will be back to 5-Star in the near future.

Room so small, no room for luggage, draughty, bed awful. Generally an uncomfortable room. Lifts very slow, old & dirty. Corridors dirty. Reception staff were really nice. Never saw a manager about so nothing will be improved.

The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable, recommended should be replaced.

Very convenient for booking tours, bus service, dining out, lovely walking tracks

The swim up was nice, but very dark. The bed comfy and the jacuzzi was nice.

I liked everything but was missing an in room safe.

Booked room was ready at 1300 but it had a step in shower. We were offered a walkin shower but room not ready. Staff offered to call us when ready but this did not happen and room only available at 1420. It was a harbour front room but did not have a kitchenette, microwave, place for cases or toaster all of which were advertised No desk,one chair and very small room and staff advised no rooms had a kitchenette. Doubt if the shower meets max temperature limit. This was like a hostel room, will not stay here again. Would have complained but did not have access to details of all features we relied on in our booking. We are in our eighties visiting Urangan for a special occasion; not so special.

Amazing location. Many food options close by - restaurants, cafes, etc. We enjoyed a local Tapas Bar with food being very tasty and plentiful. Easy walking distance to everything- marina directly in front, with whale watching tours a few steps from the Mantra and pier is a comfortable walk. Small, clean, compact rooms, good views and reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room said marina view, but we had trees in the way, which made it hard to see. But by the last night, and it wasn’t the resort’s fault we had inconsiderate people who thought it was acceptable to smoke on the balcony, even though it was a non- smoking resort.

Staff were friendly, rooms a good size and beds are comfy, just all very dated

Great for a one night stay

The room we were in was so small we could not even fit our bags in the room nor was there a chair to sit on as it would not have been able to fit either. It was very dated and needs upgrading badly. We were moved to a 1 bedroom apartment which we were charged extra for and it was excellent. The staff were very helpful with getting us a larger room, however we did have to stay in the small room for 2 nights. It was very uncomfortable.
