Beautiful view.

The apartment is very large, comfortable and well fitted out kitchen. The bed and selection of pillows were made for a good night sleep. Lovely view and location close to town and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Really loved this apartment. It was so lovely and clean except the toilet looked like it had been used and not flushed. The tape was over it so not sure about that. But everything else was perfect. Accessibility to restaurants and viewing penguins and walking paths was great. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you

Great studio apartment, perfect for a couple visiting Stanley for a couple of days. Easy walk into the Main Street with plenty of dining options!

Stanley was our favourite town in Tasmania and On The Terrace as was of the nicest places we stayed. It was very spacious, had everything we needed and extra attention was paid to small details to make it a real experience.

Property as advertised. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen area.

A beautiful well appointed cottage. So close to town and all the heritage houses. Walking distance to town. We had delicious dinner at Stanley Hotel Bistro. Was also able to do our laundry. Only downside was wifi a little patchy up at the cottage. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a really nice stay in Stanley at On the Terrace. It was comfortable, well appointed and in a great location, just a short walk from the pub. The owners were lovely too.

A very well-appointed and well-located place to stay in the delightful old village of Stanley. Stayed in one of the two immaculate "Waterfront" apartments at the front of the main house. Great views, king bed, level walk-in shower, excellent kitchen, comfortable lounge area. The house is located pretty much up against the brooding rock that is The Nut. It is at the east end of the town, on Alexander Terrace above the coastal road. It is about 25 metres from Hursey's Seafoods (which sells and also serves in its restaurant, the rock lobsters for which Stanley is famous. About the same distance in the other direction is the home in which was born and lived Sir Joe Lyons, Tasmania's only Australian Prime Minister. His wife was also a federal parliamentarian. A comfortable walk along the Terrace is the hotel (great steak dinners!) and the intriguing little museum, beside the pretty old church. A little further along is a park and beautiful white sand beach, with views up to the splendidly restored Highfield, home to the administrators of the Van Dieman's Land Company. Stanley is a delightful historic village that is still very much a functioning community, and I can think of no better place to stay while visiting, than On the Terrace.

Immaculate separate king studio next to main house and other accommodation. Comfy bed with quality linen provided. Excellent communication with owners when we had to consider a possible change to our travel plans. Very modern but cosy atmosphere. Easy access for our motorbikes, but no undercover parking available. Walking distance to all hotel and seafood restaurant. Close to beach.

We had the best stay at this facility. We were warmly welcomed by Robyn. We didn’t realise on booking that we would be staying directly at the foot of the nut. A wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommended!!

Beautifully situated propertt right on the waterfront providing excellent views from the unit. The room was very well kept with fresh linens and adequate cooking amenities. Paid laundry and dryer also available. Right next to Hursey Seafood and also very close walk to the historic town centre where you can see amazing preseved cottages. Also close to fairy penguin viewing platform and The Nut. Awesome place overall.

Perfect location & a wonderful king size bed. Highly recommended.
