Excellent stay as always. Centrally located, close to shops, restaurants, bourke street mall, transport options. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Go at your own risk. The room overflow drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom. Call to the Punthill emergency line and they didn’t even offer a follow-up call to let me know if a plumber was coming or not until i prompted that it was 9pm and wanted to sleep! Wrote to manager about the problem and have had no reply since.

Good location and staff, unfortunately the room I had must have recently been used to cook some very fragrant foods as the smell had taken over the place and it is in desperate need of airing out which was hard to do on a wet cold night.

On arrival stepping out of lift to our floor , it smelt disgusting , like sewage. Got into the room and couldnt smell it. Oped the blinds to see an alley way with garbage so there was no view. The bed was super comfortable, like a 10 out of 10. Couch had a spring near popping out that you wouldnt want to sit on. Area was quiet noisy on weekend. Water preasure in shower was great. Close to theatre so was ok to walk to . Didnt relise it was in china town . Over all it was an ok stay.

Although cheap id expect the appartment to be clean. Dust on the stove, not being wiped clean down properly, alot of dust and crap under the bed and couch as if it is too hard to move to clean under. My key fell in to the couch and to my suprise it was filthy with previous peoples food waste rubbish chips and crumbs. I didnt expect a 5 star hotel but the cleanliness of it really needs to be addressed.

I was disappointed that when I went back to my room at 7.00pm both swipe keys did not work. A call had to be made to a central number and security came. It was an inconvenience. I'm so glad in didn't happen later in the night. Unfortunately though there was no one to reissue more room keys so we had to stay in the room for the rest of the night. Or go through the hassle of getting security again to let us into the room.

Fully equipped spacious apartment. Independently controlled heating and cooling. Hidden gem entry tucked away in a small laneway in the middle of Chinatown. Lounge needs replacing very uncomfortable springs and metal protrude but other alternatives chairs etc are finee. Friendly staff.

Fantastic helpful staff.
Especially Angilque on checking in.
Was also allowed early check-in.
Carpets are a bit old with plenty of wear and tear and TV'S need updating.
Bed was comfortable enough
Over all good stay in great location.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in a one bedroom apartment at Punthill little bourke. The hotel is tucked in behind Melb Chinatown, so is very central to see theatre, comedy, restaurants and shopping. Reception staff were helpful at check in and luggage storage after check out. The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable.

Very convenient for our 2 night stay, room had washing machine and dryer if needed, only thing the shower was over a large spa bath, after knee surgery it was a little different to get into, other wise was a very pleasant stay.
