Huge apartment. Great Location. Excellent communication with the Apartment Manger, Bill. Kangaroos lazing right outside our door. Lots to keep the kids busy and an easy walk to the pub. Highly recommend The Islander for your Straddie trip.

Note to owners.....having to plug electrical kitchen appliances in to an outlet over the sink and tap is dangerous

We stayed in a single room that had an adjoining door that had someone else staying in. The door was not sealed and we could hear the other people talking. Very noisy & no soundproofing at all. Water pipes also very noisy hearing them shower. The beds were very comfortable though.

This is definitely no “resort”. Next to no car parking facilities on site for paying guests to park their cars on site. The general condition of the room was well dated and is extremely overdue for renovations. Walked down to reception twice to gain access to the wifi services which was stipulated in the information booklet however both times reception had a “be back in 10 minutes” sign at the sliding door entry. The only thing I was impressed with my stay was the level of cleanliness of the room.
