The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable with a toaster and microwave to be able to make your own breakfast. Shampoo etc supplied and the motel is easy walking distance to the main street - so all in all a good place to stay for a couple of nights while in York

Quiet and fairly cosy.
I didn’t meet any staff in the 3 nights as they had some personal business to attend to. Room had good wifi, a microwave and fridge. Extra blankets and the heater were appreciated. I particularly liked that the hot water was quick (outside it was 2° at the time). Parking was easy.
I would have appreciated more kitchen facilities (eg dish detergent and full-sized plates).

Kerry and Dave are excellent hosts and we had a lovely stay at the York Motel. Located within a very short walk of the main street but tucked away in a quiet spot. Our room and all amenities were spotless with modern bathroom and a good hot shower. Cannot fault their hospitality and can happily recommend. We would book direct with them next time though as our booking information had not been passed onto them in time for our arrival, thankfully Dave was brilliant at resolving the issue, thank you!
