Location close to the station. Comfy beds

Location is great, and the hotel is very nice. I ordered a solo room, and as expected, it was smsll but very comfortable. I do have one issue, and I don't know if it is a solo room ghong, but the only free outlet to charge my phone was in the bathroom. All other outlets had lamps plugged into them, so I could eather charhd my phone in bsthroom, or, if I wanted to charge it by the bed, disconnect the reading lamp. While this hotel is bery good, I would suggest splurging on a double room even if you are traveling solo.

Was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again!

super bien, para corta estadia

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unterkunft war sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage am Westbahnhof ist ideal, da man von dort mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut angebunden ist und im Gebäude alle möglichen Geschäfte zum Einkaufen und Essen gibt.

Buona sistemazione , ottima posizione per i collegamenti e nelle vicinanze diversi ristoranti e negozi. L’albergo è carino , le camere sono funzionali magari con uno stilo anni 70. Buoni i servizi ( bar, area fumatori, macchinette per bibite e snack)

Zimmer entsprach der Kategorie, ur statt des Hockers wäre ein zweiter Stuhl angenehm gewesen. Aber Heißwasserbereiter für ersten Morgenkaffee gern genutzt! Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut--bis auf den "Orangensaft"... und warum gibt es keine Untertassen??

Fahradkeller in der Tiefgarage, gute Matratzen, Kühlschrank leider bei Basic Zimmer abgeschlossen keine Klimaanlage Laute Straße bei offenem Fensterdirekt neben dem Westbahnhof gutes Frühstücksbuffet

We booked to stay at the Hotel Mercure Wien Westbahnhof. This is rated 4 stars on most sites. I have stayed at many Mercures in the past and have had lovely stays. When booking this we had to pay extra to have A/C, fridge (needed to put medication in) and a safe. These are called Superior rooms. In Vienna, in summer, you need AC. These rooms are NOT superior and very small and the furniture is dated. When booking, I asked twice to have a walk-in shower due to my disability and was told they would help. I also explained at reception when we arrived they just did not care, and they refused. The shower was not safe and became very slippy. I was unable to use it after the first time. My request to have a walk in the shower due to a disability was ignored. The AC would stop during the night and the room would become very hot. The bed itself was a double. The mattress was very firm & hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The curtains did not close properly, and they did not block out the light. The walls had a terrible paint job and the carpet had holes in. I asked for a quiet floor, but the room was next to the lift and was very noisy at nighttime. The door had a spy hole with no cover, so light came through at night. They advertise a mini-bar on the booking and website, but there is none. Not ever bottled water in the rooms. This is NOT a 4-star hotel and the rooms they sell has Superior are NOT. This hotel is also NOT disabled-friendly and will ignore all special requests.

It was the perfect location for our stay in Vienna!

Very simple stay - wasn’t made clear that we would be in the basic rooms on Expedia’s site. This isn’t the hotel’s fault. Very clean and great breakfast. Shame that the bar area closed quite early so were unable to get a hot drink after 11pm.

I was glad that I was upgraded to a new room. The breakfast was very satisfying and had a wide variety of options. They also looked after my luggage. However, there was a line at the check-in counter and I had to wait quite a while.

Westbahnhof에 위치한 4성급 호텔입니다 공항에서 공항버스로 한번에 올수있고 버스 내리면 도보로 2-3분 거리입니다 메트로역도 바로 옆이라 교통은 매우 편리합니다 호텔은 잘 관리되고 있어서 깔끔하지만 시설은 다소 낡은 편입니다 평소에는 저렴한 것 같은데 저는 학회기간이라 7박에 1000불 정도 지불해서 가성비가 좋다고는 못하겠네요 Stephansplatz에서 한번만 갈아타면 VIC에 갈수있고 시내 다른 곳도 어디나 쉽게 갈수있어 위치는 좋은편입니다 호텔 1층에 괜찮은 식당이 있고 주위에도 한국식당을 비롯해서 다양한 맛집들이 많아 식사하기에도 편리합니다 직원분들도 정말 친절해서 일주일 동안 편안하게 머물다 갑니다

Hotel was goid at ground level but rooms are small. Eventhough I had opted for an upgrade room was smaller than the regular rooms at other hotels. Area is not great although public transport is good. I dodnt feel generally comfortable in this area as I experienced staring locals in this neighborhood.
