nous avons apprécié le côté traditionnel de la chambre.

We stayed one night on a road trip through the North Shore. The room was comfortable and clean although on the small side. No carpet on the floor which we like. The bathroom was recently redone and was roomy with a good shower. The rooms are upstairs from the restaurant so if you have trouble with stairs this might not be a good option. We did not experience any noise from the restaurant below the room or from the street. Our rate did not include breakfast but we had a very good reasonably priced breakfast in the restaurant below the following morning. Parking is a bit tight. We had a Jeep and parking was not a problem. A large SUV or pick up might have problems with some parking spots.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour

Great location right in the center of town, close to the shore and whale watching tour boats. Excellent restraunt, friendly staff and great service. Rooms were a little worn but comfortable. Its an old building so its was what i expected.

Nous pensions que ce séjour serait le point fort de notre voyage. Nous sommes tombées de haut. Accueil sommaire dans salle de restaurant entre deux assiettes. Chambre au dessus du restaurant certes avec décoration atypique mais c'est tout. Mauvaise literie dans une petite chambre avec salle de bain exiguë plus que basique. Isolation phonique déplorable. Pour leur donner une seconde chance nous avons essayé le restaurant qui apparemment était leur point fort... Très cher pour un plateau de fruits de mer sans goût, où on émet un doute sur la fraîcheur des produits car nous n'étions pas très bien dans les heures qui on suivies. Bref à éviter.

Reservation a un prix élevé pour ce type de gite, en arrivant on nous annoncent que notre chambre est dans un aitre batiment dans une rue plus loin et la chambre est tres très petite, on a dû sortir une table dans le passage pour circuler, sans service de restauration sur place. Rien a voir avec la photo de la chambre réservée par internet. Très déçu et heureusement que nous avions réservé qu’une nuit.

On nous vend assez cher un hôtel 3 étoiles avec 1 lgrand lit dans une auberge authentique et lorsqu'on arrive on nous et dans une maison adjacente ancienne maison d'hôte dans insonorisation, avec un petit lit double. J'en ai fat la remarque au personnel qui s'en fichait complètement. Extrêment déçue par mon achat, si c'était à refaire j'irai ailleurs !

Lors de la réservation, c'est bien à la Galouine pour le côté atypique que nous avions payé. Malheureusement à notre arrivée, on nous a envoyé dans un autre bâtiment 2 rues plus loin sans charme et avec des chambres minuscules. Après réclamation à l'accueil, ils n'y peuvent rien. Le patron devrait prendre le temps de dissocier les différents bâtiments de son groupe pour la réservation sur internet plutôt que de répondre aussi violemment aux commentaires négatifs qu'il peut recevoir. Pas très commerçant tout çà. Le placement est malgré tout satisfaisant.

So disappointed with this place. Expedia customers need to be aware that: - They may well be accommodated in a house further up the road and not in the hotel itself. The room was small, noisy, and the wall of the bathroom ends 30cm short of the ceiling, meaning the shower and toilet ventilate directly into the bedroom. - Breakfast is not included. There was no indication either way in the Expedia confirmation, but in the room is a written description of the breakfast included with the room. I thought breakfast was therefore included, and only found out Expedia customers are excluded when I was presented with the bill after eating. - Trying to communicate my confusion and disappointment about the above to the staff was frustrating due to my limited French and their limited English, but ended with the delightful response "well no other guests have a problem with this " - at which point I gave up, paid and left feeling very poorly treated. - Reception opening times in the Expedia confirmation do not reflect reality. We left our key in the room as the main building was closed. The positives I can offer is that the little house is still well-located for access to Tadoussac, and the room was clean.

Gebucht hatten wir La Galouine Auberge. Bekommen haben wir aber etwas anderes. Unter der Überschrift La Galouine Auberge verbergen sich wohl 3 Gebäude. Das La Galouine Haupthaus mit dem Restaurant, ein Nebenhaus und eine Strasse weiter ein weiteres Gebäude, es hat 7 Zimmer. Wir erhielten nicht das Gebuchte, sondern in dem Gebäude eine Strasse weiter ein Zimmer. Auf unserer Rundreise waren wir in 11 Hotels und dieses Zimmer war das schlechteste. Positiv, sauber ist es schon und auch wohl neu Renoviert. Nur, es hat 4 mal 4 Meter und in diesem Bereich ist eine Ecke abgetrennt, ca. ein Meter breit mal 3 Meter lang darin dann WC und Dusche. Die Höhe der Abtrennung etwas mehr als 2 Meter und somit kommt der Dampf aus der Dusche incl. WC Besuch im Schlafraum an. Das Doppelbett hat eine Breite von ca. 140cm und auf der linken Seite sind dann so ca. 25cm bis zur Wand zum reinkrappeln ins Bett. Das Waschbecken direkt an der rechten Seite neben dem Bett, der Fernseher auf dem Kleiderschrank da ansonsten kein Platz und die Kaffeemaschine im Kleiderschrank. Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle auf dem Flur für alle gemeinsam. Auf dem Hausprospekt sind diese Zimmer nicht zu sehen. Fazit: Es ist schon unverschämt die Gäste in ein anderes Haus zu schicken und dann noch in so eine enge Absteige. Das ist alles nur auf Gewinn maximiert. Der Preis ist für das Angebot viel zu hoch und das auch noch ohne Frühstück. Von uns keine Empfehlung an einen Freund.

Breakfast normally included with the room but since we booked using Expedia, it wasn't. Also advertises satellite TV but there was no sports chains so we missed the formula 1 race on Sunday morning. The water pressure was terrible, water during off almost completely during showers. The bed was so hard we had muscle pains when waking up (we're both in our 20s and fit). The free WiFi was so slow we couldn't even watch videos. Would not go back and certainly not recommend it in its current state.

Room was so small that sink outside bathroom TV on a shelf so high it was blocked by the safety barrier Totally ripped off. Mattress so soft and narrow that my husband and I got no sleep. Had to stay 2 nts as we booked whale watching 2nd day. Micro wave did not work so ate in restaurant. Very nice but more expensive than value. Would not go back. Beautiful part of the world.

Très petite chambre avec minuscule salle de bain. Le robinet était près du lit, les toilettes et la douche derrière une porte de placard. Cependant tout était propre et restait confortable

Particulièrement déçu par cet établissement. Chambre au 2ème étage, à l'insonorisation inexistante, le moindre bruit dans la chambre voisine est distinctement entendu. Mais surtout, et je n'avais jamais vu ça, une salle de bain/wc au 1er etage. Pour son utilisation, il faut descendre un escalier en bois... pas étonnant qu'il y ait du bruit dans les couloirs, les aller retour son fréquents. Charmante attention, une cafetière dans la chambre... mais comme il n'y a aucun point d'eau, direction à nouveau le 1er étage. Enfin aucune attention, un check in froid et un check out qui se limite à "laissez votre clé sur le comptoir". Même pas pu faire part de mon mécontentement. Les spécificités des chambres 4 et 5 devraient clairement être précisées à la réservation. Dans tous les cas je déconseille cet établissement.

Der Ort ist toll- Das Hotel nicht mehr als eine einfache Jugendherberge. Ohne jeglichen Komfort, dafür mit Kiefernmöbeln aus meinem Kinderzimmer ausgestattet. Die Matratze hat ihren Dienst schon seit längerem erledigt. Die Herberge wird "grüne Tomaten mäßig" von einem sehr sehr netten Frauen-Clan geführt. Vielleicht sollte man noch erwähnen, dass unter den Zimmern das Restaurant ist (Holzhaus) in dem bis 23:00Uhr gewirbelt wurde. Auch der Küchenventilator ist nicht ohne.

Rummet vi havde bestilt på Hotels.com var ikke det vi forventede. På bekræftelsen stod et rummet ville være ca. 35 kvadratmeter med eget badeværelse. Rummet vi fik var ca. 12 kvadratmeter med et rum til toilet og bruser men vask i værelset (ikke et badeværelse) i et hus på den næste vej fra hotellet.Sengen var hvad de kalder en dobbeltseng - denne er mindre end en Queen-size. Vi klagede med det samme og hotellet opgraderede os til det eneste alternative de havde ledigt, hvilket var en hel lejlighed. Lokationen er rigtig fin men hotellet lover mere end de holder og havde jeg ikke klaget kraftigt, havde de ikke gjort noget - de mente vi fik hvad vi havde bestilt.

Very clean room, bedding & bath, with free parking located in walking distance of everything in expensive town with limited parking. Restaurant is expensive but compreble to others in town. But..sagging matress, lumpy pillows, thin,wornout, raggedy towels, no black-out curtains in an area where the sun rises at 4AM, and an aloof, apathetic staff.
