This hotel was a nicely renovated and has a great restaurant on site! The only minor complaint I have is that there is no smart TV in the room.

My wife took me to Kamloops to celebrate my birthday with friends. We asked to check in an hour early as we had a bunch of plans arranged. Upon check in, went to our room and AC was on full and room was 17 degrees. I attempted to shut it off at the thermostat and wouldn’t shut off in the ‘off’ position. I switched to heat and no change. The trip was going great, up until someone took my shoes from the pool and the staff were not helpful at all. There was clear cctv but no follow up was done to even help retrieve my items.

Room 110: The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchenette. This room was across the hall from the ice machine and cleaner's room so we could hear the ice dropping and people at the ice machine plus the cleaning staff talking. The room temperature wasn't working properly. We were either too cold or too hot. The bed was too close to the heating/ cooling system so my partner kept bumping his leg on the bed frame. When we arrived we found nail clippings on the floor.The barn door to the bathroom was flopping around and annoying. The pool was to be open at 7am but didn’t open till 7:30am. The pool was a nice temperature but its only 4 feet deep. The hot tub was disappointing as it wasn't very hot and the jets were weak. Also, my husband had to ask a gentleman to please not smoke in a non-smoking area by the main door entrance.The man was there smoking the next day. The staff could see him from the front desk.

Great space, great location! Biggest issue was the bed had hard edges and we caught our shins on them! The kitchenette was full, too bad there was no freezer, but great staff!

Water slide was not open when it clearly said pool open until 10pm. I wish their site said that the water slide had different hours. Water slide was only open until 8pm, we got in there before 8pm and it was already closed. The person at the front desk was very rude about it and was annoyed that I asked why it was only open until 8pm. I would rather stay at a different hotel with better service for the price that we paid to stay here for ONE night with my family. Also the hot tub didn’t work, the water was warm almost cold! The beds were comfy but too soft because myself and daughter kept rolling to the middle of the bed which was annoying all night. I will never stay at this hotel again!

I don’t often leave reviews but from check in to check out there was so many issues. The front end staff were not inviting no cheerful welcome. Check in was extremely slow and the front end looks very unorganized. We were given a pet friendly room when we did not request this. Once checked in the room smelled like dogs! I requested a room change but they said they didn’t have an another room available, we were right next to the restaurant and it was extremely noisy after the quiet hours of 9 pm. The beds were soo soft ours dipped into the middle and it was soo noisy all night. The pool has a waterslide but the attendant that was observing would shut it during the hours of operation 4-8 and leave and the kids need to go and request for it to be opened again. The restaurant was also average we didn’t not receive our 25% off for our food bill. I would personally not stay at this hotel again for the cost of the room per night and service received it was very subpar. I am soo disappointed as I have stayed Amat many other prestige hotels and never had this type of experience.
