Staff very friendly. Room clean and size right. Floor lamp broken. A bit remote, far from city and nothing much to do or see or walk around. A bit different from the pic. Probably won't visit again.

When staying in Kamloops this is the only Hotal I will stay at. Without exception. This least my 6th or 7th stay. Always awesome. Always

Unsafe, Poorly Managed, and Disappointing for the Price I stayed at the South Thompson Inn and Conference Centre while travelling for work and had a very upsetting experience. One evening, before 8 p.m., I returned to find the main door locked. No one had told me I needed a code to get back in, and the code was printed in tiny text on the corner of the envelope that held my room key — something easy to miss. I was left outside alone in the dark and cold with no car, repeatedly calling every number provided. I called the emergency line around 15 times, plus the manager, property manager, housekeeping, and even the chef. No one answered. I left multiple messages. I was scared and completely unsupported, in the cold and dark. Eventually, someone called me later that night to see if I got inside. Management only refunded half a night and didn't even check in with me the next day — which doesn’t come close to compensating for the stress or safety concern. For the price point and isolation of the location, this is unacceptable. Other issues included: No real breakfast (just a granola bar or fruit cup) despite being far from any stores or restaurants. No feminine hygiene products available in the public washrooms. Outdated rooms with shared balconies that lack privacy. If I hadn’t had a coworker there to help, I would have been stranded. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication, emergency procedures, and guest safety protocols.

Perfektes Hotel auf der Durchreise. Ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber und mit dem notwendigen einfachen Komfort ausgestattet. Aussicht/Gegend ist sehr sehenswürdig.

This is a beautiful hotel in a country setting. Awesome views and a lovely deck to enjoy. Wonderful place to get away to.

Sadly both the restaurant and bar were not open, which was not ideal, for a location with no options nearby. We were travelling with a pet, so I took care to book a room that indicated it was pet friendly... but upon booking I was told I booked a non pet friendly room. The staff handled the situation well, kudos to the fellow on the desk. I would suggest an update to the website to avoid any confusion in the future about pets and restauants. The resort is worth another chance... the "guest ranch" looks pretty amazing. Cheers! David

A very rustic but beautiful property that was the highlight of our trip. Wish we could have stayed another night. The rooms are all tastefully decorated. Definitely a change from your normal run of the mill hotel room. Loved the verandah seating outside our room with a view of the property and mountains. Our kids enjoyed visiting the very friendly horses on the property and feeding them apples off the trees! You can walk to Rivershore Golf Course right next door.

We only stayed one night as a stop off, but all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Especially Corey behind the bar. Room was very clean and very comfortable, quaint but perfectly adequate for our needs. Location was ideal for what we needed and was quiet, again, what we needed would recommend to anyone as a stop over on the way to/from the Rockies.

Brilliant hotel staff can’t do enough for you get a room with a view of the river is a must 👍👍

This property is quite lovely albeit somewhat dated, but that is part of its charm. The rural setting on the banks of the South Thompson River is peaceful, and the veranda areas along the front and back of the Inn are perfect for settling in with a good book and a glass of wine. I’ll be back, a great place for a quiet break.

The property is in dire need of a refurbishment. The hallway carpets were very worn and stained. The pillows on bed were 4 squares, never seen pillows like that in my life. Paying over $400 a night for a 2 star hotel 25 minutes from town is outrageous.

There is not much to do in Kamloops, but I will definitely go back just to stay in this hotel. It's perfectly maintained, ample spaces, peaceful, the rooms are very pleasant, not cookie cutter and the food beyond expectations. The service is utstanding, even Tanya, from the front desk, wrote us a note in Spanish just to make us feel welcomed. Looking forward to go back.

Good place and the right price, charming setting, nice welcoming feeling overall.

Be sure to ask for the door code to get back into building as they lock main doors at night. It took me over 5 min to get hold of night attendant to get back inside between 11pm - 12am. No secure wifi network. It's open and instead of prompting for a password, a message comes up saying not secure and all you send is open for others to see. Barely a 3 star accommodation yet they charge as they are 4 star. Just awful - so overpriced & nothing of value. Extremely disgusting greasy streaks and dirt on the sliding door window. Could barely see out it. Hair in ice bucket. No water station in lobby. Run down and simply ugly. Photos on website are not realistic
