I'm really happy. I found this place and but don't let price fool you up because I had book a Vrbo that cost me $4600 for the months of May and it only end of May 5 days three of which I was locked out sitting on the curb because the host played with the fob - lovely. The so called host had no license wasn't allowed in the building to have Airbnb and by lot of people were already on her ass and now I'm out for 600 y

Travellers’ Home was exactly what I needed. It was all very clean and my renovated rooms for both stays were great. Good quality sheets and cozy bed. I had all I needed and the price was unbeatable for this area of Toronto. And most of all, the owners and workers were most pleasant. Would stay a third and subsequent time!

The rooms are satisfactory for the nightly rate. I have stayed there multiple times when in a pinch, and I prefer the double bed for better safety and privacy than the single beds. I was happy to find air conditioning, two clean towels, and fresh sheets. The staff have always been very helpful and willing to answer any questions. Just a word of caution: if you are staying on the 2nd floor, there will be noise, as the staircase is quite noisy and there are quite a few slamming doors for those arriving early in the morning.

On arrival I rang doorbell and answer. Eventually another guest exited and I gained entry. There is no front desk so I had to track down a host. I had great difficulty in understanding that person, but ultimately got a key. The hallways and stairs are extremely narrow and very challenging to move luggage through. The room was tiny and smaller than pictures suggested. There was no air con, contrary to listing and no fan. Staff said it was being repaired, but there is no AC machine in the room. The WiFi broke down for a day a half, but they got it back on at least. You will definitely want to skip this fly by night operation.

It’s clean and safe. It’s also basic and very affordable. Great location if you want to be in China Town.
It’s a little loud depending if your room is on a lower floor. Again, everything is basic and very clean.

The room was nice and clean, air conditioner worked well, and linens were provided. Check in was fairly easy. The only issue I had was the other guests were very loud very late, so not restful. Great location for Kensington market and downtown, close to major transit routes. Overall, it did the trick.

Place is poorly maintained, high price for poor service. Staff is never available, I waited 45 minutes to be checked in. I was about to leave and file a refund request. Liang, only employee ( tried her best with neavy accent, very hard to understand) works incredibly hard to check in guests but be prepared to wait a long time. Poorly managed hostel, expensive for what they offer. Will never stay at this place again.

As I like the downtown area to walk,shop, and see the Jays, I found this property to be the ideal location for me. Rooms are basic and clean. Loved my time there.

This is the worst stay I have ever been with. As soon as I reached the unit I requested cancellation the room itself can be manageable unit stinks of cigarettes smell house is tiny and cramped. but I was not helped by Expedia too . Was told I could only cancel before check in time. How would I know that the unit would be a disaster unless I see it. I feels absolutely cheated will never be booking this house or use Expedia again. Very disappointed. I was forced to book another stay. Avoid as much as possible.
