The hotel is closed to Guanqian Street which pretty much a night market street. There are several metro stations within walking distance so it's easy to move around the city. Staff were friendly and the checkin process was pretty fast and easy

Good hotel well located

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town and super easy to get to Guanqian Street and Linden Street where many famous restaurants and entertainment venues are locations. The hotel’s facility is a bit old and it is carefully maintained. The hotel room is spacious and super quiet. Would definitely book this hotel next time we visit Suzhou.

Convenient. Located in the heart of Suzhou.

We got there around noon time， the staff was very friendly and found a room and let us check in. The room is clean and quiet。 There is a bus stop just outside the hotel， we used it to take buses to some famouse tourist destinations。And subway is only close to。

The hotel needs to be repaired and renovations. When I booked these 2 rooms paid for three people fee, and confirmed for 3 persons. When I checked in, the hotel front desk told me it doesn’t have room for three persons and said Expedia description is not correct. And let me the exact money.

Didn’t realize the hotel was so “old”! The room is so dark, lights aren’t bright enough! We’ve decided to check out instead of staying overnight!

Very nice service, staffs, manager Andy Chen provided useful and helpful information regarding the city and how to make our tours easier and convenient. The room is very clean and quiet. Very good location. Highly recommended.

该酒店设施太阵旧了。

This hotel was in a central location of Gusu. The check-in was streamlined and the staff are lovely. They helped to keep the luggages on the last day and even lent us their umbrellas. Double glaze windows are installed along the street side, so it is quiet at night. However, the faculties and carpets are bit old, part of the wall is not finished properly and some of the furnitures in the bathroom are broken.

Prenotata camera non fumatori, non fornita e senza nessun avviso. Vista della camera a ridosso di un muro. Tazze e bicchieri in camera mai puliti o sostituiti in tutto il soggiorno così come non reintegrati caffè e tè. Soprattutto un livello di umidità nella camera davvero esagerato, probabilmente dovuto alla posizione ma davvero disagevole (le giornate non erano umide, anzi). Un peccato perché la struttura è davvero bella, colazione ottima, seppur spesso carente nel reintegrare le cose finite (pane spesso mancante e macchine per il caffè bloccate).

The air conditioner is a bit too cold, can not to adjust. The only way was close it and there will cause some smell not well.

Great hotel close to a metro station and Suzhou train station. Many restaurants and bars are around. It's nearby Guan Qian Shopping Street. Pretty convenient location. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

非常好的體驗, 酒店位置方便離地鐵站和街道都很近, 一開始見到外牆比較簡單也有點擔心, 但一進入酒店就十分驚喜, 內部很大很漂亮整潔, 而且很有特色;房間寬敞,設施也保養得很好, 職員也友善有禮 最令人驚喜的是早餐質素非常高, 選擇很多也很美味, 整體是十分好的住宿體驗^^ 下次再去也會選擇

Thin walls (noise issue). I had a problem with hallway voices, voices in the next room, as well as ambient noise (bass) from nearby nightclub. With the voices from within the building, it’s almost as if the design amplified them or made them echo louder, ditto for the noise of closing doors on the rooms in my hallway. A truly terrible design for a hotel. Very little English spoken here, staff well meaning but it was hard even to check in, let alone deal with issues that came up. It shouldn’t be necessary to call the actual hotel manager in order to find someone with satisfactory English skills. Maybe I’m being unrealistic about hotels in provincial Chinese cities, though Suzhou is not exactly a small place. I had unusual problems with key card not working (electricity kept shutting off every few minutes, including once when I was in the shower) and perhaps as a related problem, the hotel safe gave me a “fail” message and would not open when I had a lot of valuables inside. Try explaining all that with only a translation app! I give hotel staff full credit for patiently trying to understand and help me out, but it was an unusually stressful and disappointing experience overall. This isn’t what international travelers/ Expedia users would expect. Noise problems aside, I’ve never encountered these issues before in years of international travel on several continents, including (on this trip) in other hotels in China.
