Perfect setting, our first visit to Croatia and we were not disappointed. Hotel has two swimming pools but the 'beach' - actually rocks with seating areas and sunbeds is the real bonus. Crystal clear water, with direct access to the sea. Beach towels and bar provided. So easy.
Evening walk into Cavtat is a must if you can pull yourself away from the hotel. We took the boat across to Dubrovnik, again very easy and interesting place. The half board option is excellent value for money, different food every evening so it doesn't get boring. Definitely choose a room with a seaview, the view is beautiful.

Väldigt fint hotell. Fint och rent överallt. Vi var inte nöjda med vårt rum och då fick vi nytt direkt utan problem. Utmärkt frukost. Vettiga priser i restauranger och barer.
Hotellet ligger på en kulle så det kan vara ett problem om man inte klarar av trappor.
Åker gärna hit igen.

This is a beautiful property with much potential. The food at breakfast is great and the selection good. The onsite steakhouse serves real decent food. The piano bar is similar…..if you can get someone to come to your table. When they do, don’t expect a warm reception. The staff in general at this hotel is as unfriendly and unhelpful as anywhere we’ve ever been and we’ve been to many many other destinations. The cleaning staff are very friendly however you interact with them the least usually.
I’m usually not one to pick on minor negative issues but the lack of friendly, English speaking, helpful employees here are too much for me to warn folks about. Our room was directly below the gym and it was like being in a thunderstorm from 7 am until 8 pm. So much for sleeping in. When we first heard and felt the noise we called front desk. They didn’t even know where the noise was coming from. Their answer was if it persists into the next 15-20 minutes to call them back. Wow. That’s service. We asked numerous questions about the town and its offerings and it appears everyone working there was from another town and knew nothing to help or answer our questions.
Croatia is beautiful and there are some truly kind people there but for a tourist area they certainly need to spread the word that a smile won’t land you in jail.
I want to emphasize that we are only two of the hundreds of thousands of visitors to this area and maybe we just “hit” the wrong people at the wrong time.

Hotel rooms are lovely. Breakfast was lovely and staff very attentive. It is up a hill with lots of steps down but they provide a free ride down and up so you don’t have to walk. Cavat is beautiful. 10 minutes from airport. Highly recommend

Hotel Croatia is an all inclusive resort along Cavtat harbor. No need to leave but if you do then there are many places to eat and swim and chill within a few minutes walk. 10 minutes from DBV airport.

Stort hotell med mange åpne felles områder, men disse var til gjengjeld mindre innbydende. Det er 3 restauranter på selve hotellet, men vi valgte å ikke spise der, fordi de ikke virket hyggelige/innbydende. Nesten hver dag måtte vi få nye/oppladede kort til hotellrommene, da de ikke fungerte lengre (irriterende). Rommene var store med stort bad og fin utsikt! Hotellets Restaurant Spinnaker ved sjøen var meget bra, og et stort pluss at strandstoler og håndklær ikke kostet noe.

Veldig fine fasiliteter på hotellet. Flott «stranda med solsenger og nye badehåndklær hver dag. Hotellrommet vi bodde på var veldig slitt og utdatert (mange flekker på gulvteppet osv.). Servicen på hotellet var veldig bra - veldig hyggelige ansatte. God seng og bra aircondition.

Great hotel and professional and polite reception staff. Great room, modern and clean.Major complaint is situation at the nudist beach, which is by the way lovely. Beach is overwhelmed by rude and arrogant hotel guest wearing swimsuits, taking photos and doing video calls on the beach. Several times hotel security had to called ( few times he even didn’t show up) and complain was made to hotel management. We’ve been promised staff from Sirocco beach bar would monitor situation but they couldn’t be bothered as they preferred to stay in bar’s air conditioned office. Everybody on the beach was complaining and we thought this problem would be solved but nothing changed. After talking to other people who’s been there before, we found out this is ongoing problem for the last few years. It’s shame as we would love to come back but as it is it’s more stressful than relaxed holiday.One day our friend asked life guard why there is red flag on the beach ( for duration of our 10 days stay)as the weather and the sea was calm to which he replied- I can’t be here so I’m not responsible if anything happens. What a shame and behaviour not acceptable from the 5* hotel.

Everything was great 10 out of 10.
Only few things: 20% coupon for Expedia VIP could not use, receptionist said it is on my account, but in restaurant they said did not see, also during checkout I needed to complain about charge they put on my room
