Cleopatra Hotel

Our stay at the Cleopatra Hotel was very good. Our room was spacious leading onto a vast balcony which had a view of the city. On entering the room, you are in a hallway with wardrobes a fridge and safe. The bedroom was clean and had all you would want, although the T.V. never worked. The bathroom was good and had a powerful shower which was in a very tight bath. The bed was a king size but the sheets didn't fit the bed, the quilt had clumps of the filling in the corners and the pillows were not very big. I needed two plus a cushion to sleep soundly. The hotel has 5 floors serviced by two lifts, one in reception and another further back in the hotel. Because there are interconnecting stairs to areas such as the Breakfast room, down two flights of stairs to the swimming pool and health spa but the main one being the stairs up to the main entrance to the hotel, I would advise customers with disabilities to be aware of what their capabilities are if choosing to book here. The hotel, is though, smart clean and well equipped. The pool is wonderful. The stars of the show are the staff. Cleaning staff are excellent, waiting staff very attentive. Some stand out members are, Costa, the very good barman in the main bar. "Nothing is too much trouble for you," is his saying. Chris the pool bar manager and Franco the lifeguard at the pool. Both worthy of a mention for their humour and professionalism. All staff did their jobs well to make our stay very memorable indeed. Well done.

The pool area is so pleasant and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast was ok, quite basic. Only bigger minus are the beds, there was only a baseframe, no mattress topper. So the bed is a bit hard. But anyway we had very comfortable staying in this hotel.

Great location and friendly staff made it an enjoyable stay. The hotel is in need of some modernisation and there was refurbishment underway.

Suitable to most tastes

Hôtel propre, piscine magnifique, chambre agréable et bien climatisée Petit déjeuner classique d un niveau 2 étoiles (tout est froid à 9h et rien n est rechargé) Personnel présent mais inexistant. Pas de bonjour, aucun service particulièrement ceux du petit déjeuner qui passent leur temps à discuter ensemble. Warning: la piscine est ouverte aux locaux, il y a beaucoup d enfants surtout le week-end

Very nice hotel , big spacious room,comfortable bed,nice balcony ,close to plenty of restaurants & shops.

Hotel is outdated; very old rooms and not maintained at all. Curtains are gone or only covering part of the window. You hear a lot of noise from the streets as the windows are not closing properly. Breakfast very bad…this is not more than a 2 star hotel. Never stay here again…

Rooms are very noisy. This is certainly not 4 star hotel. Reception and other staff in very bad mood anytime you reach them. Room service was very unprofessional and angry at me for not welcoming him in Greek.

When you are in Nicosia in August you need a hotel with a pool. Cleopatra hotel has a beautiful pool that opens right after the complimentary breakfast. It is also located close to a pharmacy, convinient stores, and retail stores. It was an excellent choice for our vacation.
