Grecian Bay Hotel

Die Strandliegen können Reserviert werden. Unser Zimmer war noch nicht renoviert aber gut. Freundliches Personal.

Room was OK, however the chair wasn't comfortable, the balcony was too small. Beds were too soft.

Potential nach oben ist ausreichend vorhanden was den derzeitigen Zustand der Unterkunft angeht. Würde das Hotel als 4* Unterkunft bezeichnen. Es hat eine sehr gute Lage mit Liegen direkt am Strand, die leider in schlechtem Zustand sind, diese gehören rigoros ausgetauscht. Generell gehört das Restaurantkonzept mit Beach bar, Grill Bar mit servierten gerichten in Fast Food pappteller optik überdacht. Rauchen gehört zumindest in ausgewiesene Raucherbereiche verbannt, denn man liegt am Strand und ist dem laufend als Passivraucher ausgesetzt. Das Reservierungssystem mit liegen bis 10:30 Uhr reserviert, danach frei fördert die Unart des Reservierens nur noch mehr. Schimmel in den Nassbereichen, Laute Umgebung bei offener balkontür in der nacht und damit sind nicht die nachtlokale gemeint. Das was wirklich ausgesprochen gut war, ist die Qualität im Spa bei Massagen und Gesichtsbehandlungen, jedoch ist auch hier Gym & Co stark renovierungsbedürftig. Also viel Luft nach oben bei einer an sich tollen Lage.

Very nice pool area, and the bar with the view over the beach, could spend hours there. Nice greenery. Very kind international staff serving us. Though the building is a bit dated.

Not a 5star, only the spa , gym , indoor pool qualify for this. …3star at best, the Grecian chain need to invest in their staff & customerr service training. No staff at breakfast to greet guests formally and ensure sign in that they are actual guests and not walk ins. Sunbeds at the beach are allocated in first come first serve…at £500 per night it’s insulting to your guests to have this arrangement. Aqua aerobics class was out of touch and dated. The instructor had a more discerning clientele but decided to conduct a class with a chosen tracks which were jarring, dated & loud techno music…please update your music choices which will enhance and enrich participants experience while entertaining the spectators around the pool area. Do not order a Classic Martini …bar staff do not know how to make one . Mine came in a tumbler, with ice no slice & made with a martini mix !!!!

I have been to the hotel many times. The best place in Cyprus. Right on a beautiful beach with more than enough beach chairs and umbrellas (belong to the hotel and you can even make a reservation of your favorite place if you wish for the whole length of your stay). Staff is above any expectations. The place is quiet, decent and welcoming as I only saw at other 5 star resorts.

Room was clean, the hotel itself was also nice and clean, but maybe nit the most modern interior.

Schöner Strand

This hotel has a nice green area with a large swimming pool, private beach and numerous lounge chairs for guests around the pool and on the beach. There are hundreds of similar hotels in Agia Napa and other towns on Cyprus. Hence, this hotel does not stand out. The down sides, however, are overwhelming: A terrible 'shower in the bathtub' where one can barely move. And the completely dysfunctional A/C: It was impossible to cool my room to a reasonable temperature, especially in the afternoon/evening. My room was facing west and the sun would shine on the large window in the late afternoon. Cyprus is very hot, up to 95 F during my stay and to above 110 F in August. In the afternoon and evenings my room could not be cooled to below 82 to 85 F. Thus, I was sweating terribly when trying to sleep. I had complaint about the A/C and a technician worked on it but without any real improvement. He told me that this is the best the A/C can do. I can only recommend to avoid this hotel.

Personal sehr aufmerksam. Es wird auf dem Strand und auch am Pool für Ordnung gesorgt, so das wenn man Liegen reserviert hat es auch bekommt. Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr gut für jeden was dabei. Abendessen als Menü sehr gut als buffet Fleisch und Fisch zu trocken. Suppen sind super. Anlage ist sehr grün. Ich würde das Hotel weiter empfehlen

The beach is absolutely beautiful and what I loved too is that there is a shuttle between Grecian bay and Grecian park located in Protaras amazing beach there too

Children bed was aweful. Really unacceptable. Room looks dated and without any wow factor. Just plain. Hotel had amazing location thougj, with some exeptionally nice garden and amenities.

One adult 2 children the room was tiny with a flimsy cot bed. Breakfast served until 10 so it was EXTREMELY crowded with line for everything. 9:30 they stopped replenish the food. Horrible experience all together.

Wir (Familie mit Teenager) hatten ein schöne Zeit in Grecian Bay. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Der Balkon mit der seitlichen Meersicht war auch top. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und fein. Es hatten immer liegen frei sowohl am Strand als auch am Pool. Fitnesscenter war auch ausreichend. Einziger Mangel unserer Sicht nach, dass der Pool zu heiss war. Das haben wir in vielen südlichen Ländern mit heissen Temperaturen noch nie erlebt. Das Meer im Zypern ist sowieso immer ein Traum. Auch gibt es am Abend keine Unterhaltung, mit Teenagerm gingen wir sowieso ins lebhafte Zentrum, aber ein Abend mit Unterhaltung im Hotel wäre auch schön gewesen. Wir würden wieder in das Grecian Bay buchen.

We booked the full board and that was wrong. The quatity of the lunch and dinner food was not good, no good fisch and still the same. The breakfest buffet was OK. Otherwise we were satisfied.
