The Grand Resort is a lovely place to switch off if you are able to go all inclusive but it is further away from the centre of Limassol than some might like, and the area it's located in doesn't have much going for it. There are 3 on-sire restaurants all offering a good variety with themes in the main buffet, and the Japanese is definitely worth a visit! All the staff are welcoming and charming to their international guests but the entertainment programme is quite low key. The hotel is a good size with a lovely pool surrounded by plenty of sunbeds in the grounds and down to the private beach. The beach is darker sand than pictures indicate but the water is clear and the promenade towards the city provides a good walk.

Would have rated 4.5 if possible. This is a lovely hotel and certainly deserves its 5-star rating. Facilities were vast and of a high quality. We were a family of 6 staying all-inclusive. It included all meals and unlimited drinks and ice cream (other snacks were limited). Food quality was ok not amazing. Standard buffets were substantial in range if not quality. The Japanese a la carte was good although Acai restaurant for dinner wasnt great with very slow service. Some felvioujs cocktails and mocktails were always available. Entertainment was limited but fun - mostly for children with wonderful staff who kept our kids entertained. We had family sea view rooms. Comfortable and good amentieies with lovely views. Not the largest and TV limited for English speakers but not an issue. The 'free' mini bar was a nice touch but some more snacks and less drinks woukd have been appreciated. Pool was simple but clean and warm. Never had an issue finding a sunbed. Pool service was appreciated. Overall a great hotel and one we would visit agian.

I was locked out of my room for half an hour. Apparently, the battery in the lock had died. Manager gave zero apologies for the battery inconvenience, just shrugged his shoulders. Also, phone didn’t work and had to be reconfigured. Tried using the gym, but it smelled so bad (old sweat), that I went straight back out. Had a red rash from the lotion in the bathroom. The only redeeming qualities about the hotel was the nice beach/pool area.

Vi bookede et ophold i god tid - værelse med 3 voksne. Måtte tilføje person efterfølgende og måtte så tilkøbe et dobbeltværelse - men uden modregning af en person i oprindelig bookning. Hotellet kunne så have gjort lidt ekstra men det skete ikke. Generelt slidt hotel og meget lydt mellem værelser. Få spisesteder i området så man skal med taxa for at få noget mad. Hvis du længes et charterhotel med 70% stressede småbørnsfamilier, skrigende babier, store, mørke madsale med køer til morgenmadsbuffetten og med fornøjelse betaler 2-3,000 per nat for dette såkaldte 5-stjernede hotel, så er dette lige et ophold for dig.

Very nice hotel near the beach, very nice pool, very nice rooms, good service. The gym is a bit "old" 7/10 breakfast was good Dinner was very basic 6-7/10 I would recommend taking only B&B and going out for dinner, there are very nice restaurants / tavern kust a few minutes away (with taxi)

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star property. Already upon arrival, no one came to open the taxi door or help with our luggage. At the bar, we constantly had to pick up our drinks ourselves, as staff rarely approached us and often seemed unfriendly. Service in general is very poor and the hotel feels understaffed. Breakfast service was equally disappointing – for example, my husband was told to fetch a Coke at the bar instead of being served at the table, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. On the first day, our room was not cleaned at all, and only after asking in the evening did someone reluctantly take care of it. The bathrooms are superficially clean but clearly need a deep cleaning, especially in the tiles and corners. The hallways are extremely noisy, and even at the pool no one came to take drink orders. The dinner buffet is another major weakness. Starters and desserts are acceptable, but the main courses are unimaginative, repetitive, and far from the advertised “Mediterranean” or “Italian” theme nights. There is nothing creative or special about the dishes, and overall the buffet feels very disappointing for a 5-star hotel. The swimming pool area is also in very poor condition. The pool floor is extremely slippery and clearly not properly cleaned – we never saw a cleaning robot in use. We were not offered a well come drink during check in and since we checked in late the hotel did not offered us to use our lunch in all inlusive on the next day unlike other all inclusive hotels we stayed in the past in Cyprus. In addition to these the top bunk bed was creating disturbing sound all night long which interrupted our sleep during the night. You can also listen the conversations of people in the corridor through the night.

I wouldn’t really say this is a 5* hotel. Having been to many other 5* properties, the rooms are definitely comparable but the customer service let the experience down. Check in wasn’t what I expected and the breakfast options were lacking (compared to other hotels of the same standard). Customer service was a 3-star standard in my option. You expect 5* customer service to be hands on, creative and go above and beyond. Things that make you come back but it was the bare minimum throughout

Was quite untidy everywhere when we arrived - bins full, toilets messy, the changing rooms hadn’t been cleaned, sun beds & tables were dirty. Not sure if this was due to Easter weekend lack of staff or a pervious big event that they still hadn’t cleaned up before we arrived but it was definitely not what you expect at a five star hotel unfortunately.

Service was terrible, no ice cream parlour open, June is opening time from what we were told at reception. When asked at the pool bar for ice cream they said we couldn't take it to the pool and had to sit in the bar restaurant. Lifeguard in the indoor pool wouldn't let kids in the pol without armbands, supposedly a rule for 6 and under but the chap was insistent for our 8 year old, who incidentally is an excellent swimmer. Beer offering are poor, Keo or Carlsberg, unlucky if you don't like that beer, Not good enough for a so called 5 star hotel. The Asian restaurant, only limited offerings, not the full menu. Excuses galore around staff being new, the hotel only just re-opening. Looks like the grand opening is expected in June, despite the hotel being open......work that one out!! For me the hotel is at best a 4 star hotel. Much better offerings in other hotels in Limassol, we won't be visiting again.

I was locked out of my room for half an hour. Apparently, the battery in the lock had died. Manager gave zero apologies for the battery inconvenience, just shrugged his shoulders. Also, phone didn’t work and had to be reconfigured. Tried using the gym, but it smelled so bad (old sweat), that I went straight back out. Had a red rash from the lotion in the bathroom. The only redeeming qualities about the hotel was the nice beach/pool area.

Very nice hotel near the beach, very nice pool, very nice rooms, good service. The gym is a bit "old" 7/10 breakfast was good Dinner was very basic 6-7/10 I would recommend taking only B&B and going out for dinner, there are very nice restaurants / tavern kust a few minutes away (with taxi)

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star property. Already upon arrival, no one came to open the taxi door or help with our luggage. At the bar, we constantly had to pick up our drinks ourselves, as staff rarely approached us and often seemed unfriendly. Service in general is very poor and the hotel feels understaffed. Breakfast service was equally disappointing – for example, my husband was told to fetch a Coke at the bar instead of being served at the table, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. On the first day, our room was not cleaned at all, and only after asking in the evening did someone reluctantly take care of it. The bathrooms are superficially clean but clearly need a deep cleaning, especially in the tiles and corners. The hallways are extremely noisy, and even at the pool no one came to take drink orders. The dinner buffet is another major weakness. Starters and desserts are acceptable, but the main courses are unimaginative, repetitive, and far from the advertised “Mediterranean” or “Italian” theme nights. There is nothing creative or special about the dishes, and overall the buffet feels very disappointing for a 5-star hotel. The swimming pool area is also in very poor condition. The pool floor is extremely slippery and clearly not properly cleaned – we never saw a cleaning robot in use. The Grand Resort is a lovely place to switch off if you are able to go all inclusive but it is further away from the centre of Limassol than some might like, and the area it's located in doesn't have much going for it. There are 3 on-sire restaurants all offering a good variety with themes in the main buffet, and the Japanese is definitely worth a visit! All the staff are welcoming and charming to their international guests but the entertainment programme is quite low key. The hotel is a good size with a lovely pool surrounded by plenty of sunbeds in the grounds and down to the private beach. The beach is darker sand than pictures indicate but the water is clear and the promenade towards the city provides a good walk.

Would have rated 4.5 if possible. This is a lovely hotel and certainly deserves its 5-star rating. Facilities were vast and of a high quality. We were a family of 6 staying all-inclusive. It included all meals and unlimited drinks and ice cream (other snacks were limited). Food quality was ok not amazing. Standard buffets were substantial in range if not quality. The Japanese a la carte was good although Acai restaurant for dinner wasnt great with very slow service. Some felvioujs cocktails and mocktails were always available. Entertainment was limited but fun - mostly for children with wonderful staff who kept our kids entertained. We had family sea view rooms. Comfortable and good amentieies with lovely views. Not the largest and TV limited for English speakers but not an issue. The 'free' mini bar was a nice touch but some more snacks and less drinks woukd have been appreciated. Pool was simple but clean and warm. Never had an issue finding a sunbed. Pool service was appreciated. Overall a great hotel and one we would visit agian.

Unfortunately, during our check in at 5 pm the door of the room which was given to us was wide open and we discovered there was an extra room card in the room.
