Royalton Bavaro, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino

Rooms: Poor maintenance conditions, mold, humidity smell, failure to clean room, requested room services which stated delivery times of 40-45 minutes. Did not receive food the first time until 120 minutes later and the second order never arrived. Requested towel service on the day the did not clean our room and that took over 90 minutes. The buffet and waiter service: take 10-15 minutes or more to deliver drinks to table. I had to stand next to a table during breakfast buffet time and ask several people to clean the table so we can sit our large party to which took over 20 minutes to properly clean while I had to tell lady to clean food debris that was left on chairs and more. To then discover that they were not properly prepared for the breakfast with lack of food out, they ran out of clean plates and had no juices just tap water. Restaurant reservations were made every night at differently locations: the steakhouse brought one of the entrees chicken brochette completely raw on the inside and didn’t have several items which were listed on the menu. We visited this location twice and both times they failed to carry multiple items in the menu while also providing a horrible experience with the drinks. The Asian cuisine restaurant was great, chef experience and waiters were always on point when it came to the meals and beverages. The water had some strange gasoline smell in the shower, sinks, restroom areas to which we also saw a male visiting all faucets of water to test.

We stayed at Royalton and had a mixed experience. The property itself is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are a nice size. However, our room had a strong moldy smell that didn’t go away. The lazy river was a highlight of our trip! We did end up having to purchase floats from the gift shop (very expensive). Unfortunately, the staff at the pier gift shop were quite rude and unhelpful, which left a bad impression. This was after one of the $45 floats broke on day one. We opted for the Diamond Club thinking it would be a worthwhile upgrade, but it really didn’t live up to the advertising. One of the main reasons we chose it was for the premium liquor at the pool bar, but most of the time the bars claimed they were out of it. Plus, we discovered that you could get the same premium liquor at other bars on the property that are open to all guests. The best part of the Diamond Club was definitely the separate breakfast area where we didn’t have to wait in long lines for things like omelettes. I’m not sure that was worth the upgrade though. We will not be returning to this property.

We also met Luisa and Peter, two incredibly kind and professional individuals who made every moment even more special. One of the highlights of our trip was the spectacular beach dinner, where we were graciously served by Lauterio, whose customer service was outstanding. At the beach bar, Alexis and Jordany always greeted us with warmth and excellent service. We must give a very special mention to Ramona, our housekeeper, who took care of our room (11408) with such dedication. Without her, we probably wouldn’t have had such restful nights — she truly made us feel at home. The food was delicious at every restaurant, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the overall service was first-class. Honestly, we rarely return to the same hotel — but this time, we would gladly make an exception for the wonderful people we met here. Adonys deserves a 100/100. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We will be back!

Concierge Adoni was great. He continued to check up on me during my stay. The resort was nice. Sad the swim up bar closed at 6, felt like that was pretty early. Other than that I was happy

The hotel is beautiful and lots of activities for the kids. It’s a little confusing at first with the reservations of the restaurants . They seem short staffed. Only downside was the service for everything was really slow. Angela was our only help to be able to make reservations.

Modern, elegant, comfortable rooms, friendly attentive staff, accesible beach with plenty of chaises and palapas for shade, food and drinks are good and always available. During our stay Estalin was specially helpful making sure we had everything we needed and also securing reservations for a-la-carte dining experiences.

The main lobby and that specific surrounding space is decent. The rooms need to be renovated, and more buffet locations are needed throughout the property, etc.

Está lejos de tener 5 estrellas. Es un hotel en ruinas que el Personal hace lo imposible por atenderte bien pero los recursos son escasos y el hotel está bien feo.

Pienso que deben Mejorar en mucho aspects como La limpieza a las habitations y los suministros del aseo personal y las tohallas manchadas , la attention en el restaurants Italiano muy mala , reparations a los Aires en las habitations , las parades agrietadas en fin no me gusto y no lo recommends 👎👎
