Brooks Guesthouse Bristol

I stayed in the caravan on the roof as it was something a little different. The hotel inside looked nice and clean. The outside on the rooftop did let it down. Just lacked a nit of maintenance. The caravan itself was nice and cozy with a really good shower although small but i didnt expect it to be. Plenty of options for food in the area plus they serve breakfast. Overall really good value for money. Parking is a short walk and costs £15 but i knew that prior

The shower stall was amazing! Plenty of room, easy to use. The mattresses were okay somewhat better than typical 3 star loggings . The district where the property is located is very noisy at night due to clubs and pubs nearby. I stayed Friday and Saturday night and drunks were making noise till 4:00 am. The loggings are next to a pub and you can hear the noise of loud music in the dining area. Location is good for Bristol hospitals about a 10-15 minute walk away. Front desk staff is relatively friendly though not overly helpful or customer-focused though some were better than others. Lots of restaurants nearby.

I took my 15 year old daughter and stayed on the roof top of the hotel, we absolutely loved it.

C’est un hôtel très agréable avec du personnel très sympathique. Toutefois le quartier est très vivant la nuit et n’ayant pas la climatisation il fallait rester les fenêtres ouvertes pour avoir un peu de fraîcheur. Toutefois c’est très cool d’assister au concert du bar d’à côté dans son lit après une longue journée de marche pour découvrir cette très belle et diverse ville. La localisation est idéale. Avec mon fils nous n’avons pas essayé le petit déjeuner car nous avons préféré profiter du marché juste à côté qui est si varié

Receptionist was very welcoming,polite,professional and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Great outside area and the sound of the water feature was very soothing. Great stay overall. (Pic is of how i left the room not how i received.) Thanks alot

My first solo night stay and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience here! All the staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. I booked this place on the day of travel at a very reasonable price, and they were still accommodating enough to give me a later check out time with no extra charge. The guy on the night shift was an absolute legend and chatted to me for a while when I got back from a night out, he immediately made me feel at ease. Please pass on a good word for him from me! No complaints with the room itself either. It was a decent size and very clean despite having mixed reviews. Comfortable/soft bed, plenty of storage and a full length mirror. The location is right in the heart of the bars, restaurants and shops, but secluded enough to provide privacy. I was out for majority of the night so I can’t comment on the noise, but the courtyard seems to separate the street from the place very well to drown some of this out. I felt very safe with separate keys for the gate, the reception and my room. If I wanted to be nitpicky, the shower pressure wasn’t amazing and there was no hand soap in the room, but this wasn’t an issue as I’d brought my own. The room was very warm and they provide a small fan for this. I can imagine on the hotter days this would be uncomfortable as there is limited airflow. My stay at Brooks really surprised me, I feel like this is a hidden gem. It was exactly what I needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE AND JUST WHEN YOU THINK IT CANT GET ANY WORSE THE FULL ENGLISH WAS COLD AND THE EGGS WERE OVERCOOKED AND HARD NO BUTTER FOR THE TOAST. THE ULTIMATE OF FAULTY TOWERS VISITS BRISTOL

Purtroppo sono stata solo poche ore, ma il posto è fantastico e comodisdimo come posizione! Sicuramente ritornerò in caso di un nuovo viaggio a Bristol.

Very good stay. Great staff and generally great all round. Great location if you like the buzz of the city in the evening.

Great location and lovely accommodation

Great location, easy checkin, big enough room. Area around the hotel fairly noisy at night but glazed windows do a good job of blocking it out. Only issue was the room got very warm due to this.

V well placed central location but also meant lots of street activity till late so noisy. So had choice of open window & noise, or stuffy as room was warm. Room was good with v comfy bed, but poor pillows. Generally good value

Room was way too hot, it was really uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping even with windows open (heating was definitely off). Details showed fan provided, not true the case so misleading. Photos showed the room bigger than actual size. Reception staff on day of check in acted like he did not want to be there, did not say about the wifi password. I would not recommend the place to anyone, save your money for elsewhere, surprised of the good ratings given.

The staff were especially kind and very helpful for anything we needed! We stayed in the camper on top of their roof. It was a fun and easily accessible place and we would recommend it to everyone! The breakfast was very good and freshly made!
