Stayed here for a night before an early flight from Manchester airport. They have a shuttle bus but we just walked it as it was easy to terminal 2 once you knew where you were going. Room was great with 2 double beds and we had a good night's sleep. Bathroom really needed some work, the sink enamel was all gone and looked terrible. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good and available from 5.30am which was brilliant for an early flight. Would stay again.

The smell was from both the bathroom and the room itself including the bed sheets. Booked it for the airport shuttle services which was excellent. However, although I booked for three adults, there were only two towels in the shower and I had to request additional one. The sink was not working properly [water clogging ]. Not sure how long ago the room was cleaned before we checked in. I expected better than this.

Chose Clayton due to reputation. Found Dorito crumbs in one of the Children’s beds. Coffee cups hadn’t been washed. Visible coffee stains on them. Double bed mattress had a huge stain at the edge. Most likely a spilled drink or we wouldn’t have slept on it.

Good location, hotel shuttle or no drop off from car rental, but rental bus driver will drop you off at the roundabout if you ask.

Absolute standard transit hotel.
50% service was very good. Shuttle bus and its drivers excellent.
Food and drink overpriced rubbish. Wait staff one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
Dated fixtures and fittings in room. Shower head from 1950s reform school. As all hotels light switches baffling- not that all the lights work.
Most confusing was why when the hotel was obviously busy and people queue for check in do you put the self check in machines in the queue?
I had an email to say my room was ready and could self check in and print key card but had to queue anyway because of the position of the machines. Absolutely baffling. There is an area to the right of reception by vending machines where they would be perfect.
Food was overpriced microwaved rubbish but no attempt was made to hide the fact. Was dumped on my table by a large bald waiter who genuinely seemed surprised that I would need cutlery and dumped knife and fork- no spoon as if it was way too much trouble. No check to make sure all was ok ( it wasn’t, an extra 30 seconds in microwave would have been good).
Order by app was confusing and it was all overpriced.
However the girl in the restaurant who I complained to, the reception staff and bus drivers were.all very good.
£140 for this? Far too much. It was worth £80 at most.

Convenient location after arriving late into T3. Friendly, helpful staff at reception. Very comfortable, spacious room with excellent facilities, but feeling a little bit dated in places. The free transfer was a good offer, though without much baggage I decided to walk instead.

Great hotel, within a short walk of terminal 1. My only complaint was the usual lack of milk, coffee and side on the tray. Also, we had 4 people in the room but only 2 towels.
