Devonia Express

Rusul was truly an amazing, attentive host who provided hospitality and made Devonia Express feel like home. I would definitely return.

The manager was very welcoming and helped with our luggage to our room. Clean tidy and our room was perfect. Superior and balcony with sea view

Basic room but quite clean apart from some mould in the shower. The water pressure in the shower was very low. Good location, staff friendly when they were there.

We booked in and didn't see anybody until we left. We were left to our own devices which suited us.

Hosts were very hospitable very clean and quiet . Very enjoyable stay .

My wife and I had a really good stay at the Devonia. We would stay again and as we were there for Glyndebourne, probably will next time.

It was good to have the reassurance of a parking place (although this is on a first come basis). Although they did not do breakfast, the hotel offered cereal and toast with plenty of tea and coffee in the room. We did struggle with the TV (which only seemed to get certain channels, although this might have been our lack of IT skills). We were on the top floor which may have been responsible for the lack of water pressure in the shower. However, overall good value for money.

Ok, maar niet spectaculair. Wel op wandelafstand van het centrum en parking achter het huis. De kustweg is wel druk.

Had a fabulous stay at the Devonia. I was very late arriving and the staff kindly waited for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay there again 😊

Hotel was clean and very friendly and helpful.Have only run hotel for 3 weeks so the breakfast wasn’t what I expected would of liked a cooked breakfast as detailed but was basic cold food and toast.

There is nothing not to like about this property. Friendly & welcoming owner, delicious breakfast, comfy bed & the room was lovely (ours had a super view of the sea). We would stay here again on any future trip to Eastbourne.

A very comfortable room with sea views.Excellent food at breakfast time with my wife fully suported with Gluten Free items. Would come back for a 2nd time. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Devonia. Our room was very clean, and well appointed. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. Carolyn and her husband were very friendly. We would go back.

The Devonia hotel is a lovely clean hotel , well run by Carolyn Jane and her husband , breakfast was lovely , rooms are well equipped , literally over the road from the beach , quiet area , would probably benefit from using a car if not a great walker as it is a fair distance from the town centre if walking , good bus network though aswell

What a beautiful place to stay. Definitely will be coming back. Fantastic view and scenery. Would highly recommend staying here. Caroline was a great host and so friendly too. Our room was beautiful and both had great night sleep. Thankyou for having us.
