Elm Tree Farm Accommodation

Beautiful little row of cottages with bedroom upstairs which was a nice separation of sleeping and living area. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and all furnishings new and comfortable. Quiet location, walking distance to a very cute old inn.

Lovely peaceful location, although better (some) signage for guests as they enter the driveway would be great. The courtyard outside the suites is gorgeous and a lovely place to sit and read, or simply to welcome you in. I had a bit of door trouble where I really had to bash the handle upwards repeatedly to get it to the point where I could lock the door. The suite is well equipped on paper, with all crockery, washing-up liquid and a brush, plus a microwave, a fridge and a small hob. Unfortunately none of the bowls or spoons were actually clean, so I needed to wash them again before I had breakfast. There's a TV but reception was awful. Several channels flickered badly and it wouldn't pick up BBC1 at all so I missed the FA Cup final. Everywhere was really clean apart from what I mentioned above. The bed (twin singles pushed together) was well presented and soft, and felt immediately comfortable. I slept really well. The bathroom was a disabled-friendly wetroom and I obviously can't complain about that, but it did mean that the sink was tiny and only thigh height, making it almost impossible to wash my face or hands without splashing my trousers. Maybe I should have implemented a no-clothes rule in the bathroom! All in, this was a pleasant stay in a pretty rural spot, with a few foibles.

Lovely well furnished apartment and cottage units. Spacious and modern with beautiful surrounding area to explore. Host was very welcoming and informative upon arrival. Facilities such as kitchen all top notch and comfortable sitting area in front room. Great value for money. Will stay again for sure
