Great quirky decor and fab location.

Always love the Abode, our go to hotel when in Manchester. Everything is great as usual but I did feel that charging £2.50 for a bottle of water was a bit steep - we have stayed many times and in many hotels and normally this is complimentary which given the standard of hotel I would have expected

Staff were lovely and we had some olives and a drink before we went out. Reasonably priced.

At first I had to request to be given a new room because an entire wall next to the window was covered in mould. The new room had wall paper peeling off the walls and random marks on the wall. The aircon did not work. Room was very hot and uncomfortable. Bottles water in the room tasted salty and cost £2.50. The only nice thing about the room was the bathroom was nice and clean. The building feels very old and outdated. I wouldn’t stay here again. Photo is of mould in first room.

At check in it took a ridiculous amount of time to find our booking but when they did, we were given a room upgrade.

Enjoyable stay, nice room. Check in staff attentive on arrival, and allowed me to check in an hour early. Room bit spacious. Slept well. Nice shower. Will stay again.

The room was nice but it was unbelievably hot in the room. The air con unit was clearly broke because they had taken the remote out of the room. There was a fan circulating hot air as the windows wouldn’t even slightly open.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, fünf Gehminuten vom Bahnhof. Wir hatten die Frink Suite in der obersten Etage, die sehr schön eingerichtet war. Die Betten waren bequem und eher weich, Mini-Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher waren vorhanden. Sichere Gegend nahe Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir sind um 12:00 mittags angekommen und durften sogar schon aufs Zimmer, was wir supernett fanden. Das Einzige, was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war, dass es in den Zimmern sehr heiß war. Es gab keine Klimanlage, sondern nur zwei Ventilatoren, und man konnte nur im Wohnzimmer, jedoch nicht im Schlaf- oder Badezimmer ein Fenster öffnen, was das Bad quasi zu einer Sauna gemacht hat. Außerdem hat man das Wasser beim Duschen nie wärmer als lauwarm bekommen, was nicht so angenehm war. Ansonsten war aber alles super und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Great central location, stylish room, only minor issues, which were design of curtain actually meant you couldn’t fully draw it, so had light coming through, needs a blind & no light anywhere near the dressing table/kettle area. But would stay again. Staff friendly and everything immaculate.

Another great stay at Abode This is our go to hotel when we are in Manchester We were celebrating our anniversary so Omar organised a complementary drink for us . Nothing was too much trouble for Omar he was first class

We stayed here for two nights. I was very disappointed that the air conditioning wasn't working. I wouldn't have booked if I was informed about this beforehand. The staff were polite the place was decent however the room was far too hot. I didn't get a decent night's sleep on either night. I called the front desk on the first day asking if they could give me the remote for the air conditioning system and I was informed that they had a problem and the air conditioning wasn't working, this was a shock to me as I only booked mainly for this reason. I realised that the air conditioning in the main lobby looked like it was working fine? I was then told that they stopped advertising the air conditioning on the system and I told them that wasn't the case when we booked the hotel. I payed roughly £270 for 2 nights which is reasonable considering the AC is working. Not once was I called or informed about this prior to arriving at the hotel. There was a fan in the room but despite this the room was too hot. I would be grateful if the hotel management contact me via email or phone call and offer me a proper explanation as to why this was. I am not a difficult person however I don't like to be misold services. Warm regards Yusuf Naroot

Great stay very friendly staff beds were huge and really comfortable. Breakfast was 5 star really good. Will definitely be back

Aircon not working, the room was provided with a fan that helped for sure, but not the same. Nice room, very clean.

This hotel is the best part of my trip, the building is old and beautiful, the room is spacious and the bathroom is big and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the price was excellent 10 minute walk from the train station

Ystävällinen palvelu ja erinomainen sijainti lähellä Piccadillyn asemaa. Herkullinen aamiainen. Huoneessa pientä kulumaa. Rikkinäinen kattovalaisin ja likaiset ikkunat vähensivät huoneen viihtyisyyttä. Kokonaisuutena odotusten mukainen hotelli, voin suositella!

The hotel looks much nicer online. Only really seen one person at reception our whole stay.
