Hermitage Park Hotel

Bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious plus accommodating ensuite. I was only here one night. Breakfast was a wide and tasty choices serve yourself set up.

Clean but very dated. Cracked bathroom tiles. Shower pressure was dreadful. Staff were wonderful

We just had a one night stay to attend an event nearby. The room was very clean, you could smell the cleaning products. Had everything that you needed and we had a good nights sleep. We were already having breakfast at the venue we were going to, but the hotel breakfast did smell lovely when we left. The only negative was it is in need of a lick of paint.

Hotel itself was fine. Room was pleasant enough - bed, telly, team making facilites and biscuits but no hot water of any sort from sink taps or shower.

Great value hotel in a convenient location with friendly and helpful staff

A comfy bed coupled with a clean room and a good breakfast. Throw in friendly and helpful staff and you've got all you need for an overnight stay. Never lets me down.

The hotel is a bit dated, tired and not stylish. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. It suited us on this occasion. Bedside lamp in room 15 wasn’t working. Breakfast was nice.

The hotel rooms are tired looking could do with some tlc. I stayed for 2 weeks as it's the closest to where I was working. The rooms I stayed in had limited internet strength also the beds were not comfortable as mattress went down in the middle. Lovely staff, very helpful, rooms were clean.

Comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff coupled with a nice breakfast in the morning. What more could you need for an overnight stay?

We arrived to a poo left in the toilet, which refused to flush until the next day. Adjoining door to next room was locled but could see straight through the key hole. Only noticed when leaving. Beds were so bouncy they were like sleeping on a bouncy castlr!

Hotel is a bit tired but it's clean. The kitvhen was closed for evening meals. Internet in the room was non existence. Not sure if this was a temporary issue. Good breakfast.

A dated hotel but my room was clean and comfortable. No food available in the evening but the bar is open.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. Just a pity that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment when I visited. But breakfast was available and very good.

There are some good pros of this hotel but unfortunately there is also some room for improvement. The pros - The staff are helpful & friendly - The bed is comfortable and soft - The towels are soft and fluffy - The hotel bar is open all night - The location is good and the car park is pretty big. - There is a fan in the room - Nice view of the bowling green from the room (no 10) The Cons - The bathroom of room 10 needs completely redoing - the paintwork is a mess, the shower unit is wobbly on the wall, the door only stays shut if you use the lock - There is a nice tray with biscuits and tea/coffee making facilities but there was only 1 spoon for 2 of us - Whilst the towels were soft there was only 1 hand towel for 2 of us - The ironing board was filthy and stained - The door is thin and has a gap under it which means you can hear everything from every bedroom you walk past - A complimentary bottle of water was provided but only 1 to share between 2 of us. - There was a few holes in the net curtain at the window I didn’t try any food at the venue so I can’t comment on that. I would probably stay here again but ask for a different room, perhaps in a different part of the hotel to compare quality. This hotel has potential to be really nice with just a Few small tweaks, attention to detail and some work on the bathrooms.

4 night business trip and as Coalville only has 2 hotels choice was limited. But I can honestly say my stay was very pleasant. As 3 star hotels go it looked slightly dated but the bed was very comfy, fresh linen and towels every day. Room was a very good size and well stocked with beverages. It was very quiet at night outside and in. I didnt try the breakfast as I'm not a breakfasty person. Limited staff on duty but those there were very helpful and pleasant. Overall a nice stay and I would definitely use the Hermitage Park again.

Steady hotel, very 80s style building looks like a small conference centre. Good for business travel. Breakfast was very nice though, best part of the stay.

Room 23 - electric sockets went off sometime during night so unable to use when we got up in the morning. Reported to reception as we left

No food available- ordered uber eats though
