Holiday Inn Express LONDON - STANSTED AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Ankunft war ok, freundlicher Empfang und Check In. Zimmer sehr klein, leider nicht wie beschrieben Doppelbett mit Schlafcouch. Fenster leicht verschimmelt, Farbe platzt ab und Fensterseitenwände nass, bzw. Salpeter…! Habe schon keine Fotos mehr vom Kopfkissen und Matratze gemacht…, es war einfach nur ekelig.., Kopfkissen (nicht der Bezug) voller Flecken, ebenso die Matratze…! Es war wirklich ekelig…!!! Danke aber das Fenster und die Seitenwände des Fenster reichen schon, gesund war die Übernachtung mit Sicherheit nicht!

Good value for money but think transfers to and from the airport should be free for an airport hotel

Wonderful breakfast and nice staff. The only problem was the sofa bed for the kids that was too soft.

Very comfortable with all we needed. Liked the buffet breakfast and the hard work and attention, especially the staff who kept everything topped up clean and tidy

Perfect location near stansted airport literally a couple of minutes from mid stay parking.

De l'accueil chaleureux à la propreté des lieux, le séjour même court nous a permis d'apprécier toute la qualité de service de l'Hotel avec un personnel très disponible et agréable. Une surprise très satisfaisante. Cet hotel est une valeur sure !

Handy for airport

The air conditioning did not work in either of our two rooms. That made the entire night terrible. We chose this hotel for that reason. So not good there. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was great too and nice to have. Lastly, the shuttle to the airport made things very convenient.

Comfortable and quiet. Five minutes / 1.5 miles drive to airport parking. Breakfast from 4am was a real bonus. Great staff. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel, staff was very helpful, breakfast was delicious

Room was clean, quiet and comfy. We didn't need anything more as only staying in order to catch early flight next week. Despite leaving at 430, we were impressed that there was breakfast and drinks available at 4 to eat there or take to the airport. I was a bit shocked by cost of the transfer to and from the airport though. Our coach dropped us at station, and transfer to hotel was £4 each, then same the next morning to get back to the airport. This seemed very expensive for a 5 minute bus journey, and definitely something to bear in mind budget wise. As this was the difference between being cheaper or mosre expensive than a cab from home to airport (which we will do next time).

Close to Airport, staff friendly, breakfast included which is a reasonable standard. Rooms are basic but are fine for short stay. Cafe available for meals, my pizza only average for price, otherwise handy. Drivalia car rental 2 min walk away, so that suited me.

Great budget option for a night before an early flight, breakfast was available before 4am which was fantastic. Beds comfortable and rooms very clean.

Great stay at a reasonable price

The staff is really friendly and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is nice,could have more vegan options though. My room was on thr ground floor and my phone had no interbet reception,and unfortunately the wifi didn't work either.

Easy parking & check-in. Reception staff very helpful. Bar staff à bit fraught!

Dtaff were very helpful and friendly. Late check out was offered if i signed up into the group which was free. The only drawback os the the bar closing at 11 when we landed quite a lot later than that. Otherwise 5/5

Standard airport hotel, located a mile or so from the airport. Shuttle bus to/from the airport cost extra. Ok room and facilities. Great service, quick check in. Restaurant is average, as to be expected in this type hotel.
