Holiday Inn Express MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE - ARENA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We arrived earlier than our check in time but were able to check in half an hour early and we got free membership also we didn't realise tgat the breakfast was included as it didn't state this on the website we booked the hotel on very happy excellent value for money plenty of choice for breakfast would definitely stay again

El agua de la regadera estaba fría y en el desayuno todo era un caos. La televisión no servía. La ubicación no está tan mal.

Great accommodation for our overnight stay walking distance to the Ao arena Clean and welcoming Lovely comfy bed with fabulous pillows They gave me some toothpaste as I forgot mine so thank You for that I would recommend and would stay again

The reception desk and all staff are exceptionally welcoming. The check-in and check-out process is efficient. The breakfast offered is standard but fresh, with a good selection of fruits. The bathroom is impeccably clean, and the bed is very comfortable. - room on the eighth floor. Convenient location. The only downside is the lack of a Netflix viewing option.

Rigtig fint hotel med god beliggenhed. God morgenmad også. Vores værelse var desværre meget, meget varmt og aircondition virkede ikke - det var lidt ærgerligt.

Kleine aber gemütliche Zimmer, wenn man es eher dunkler mag (so wie ich). Man sollte wissen, dass man kein Fenster öffnen kann. Fussläufig ist alles gut zu erreichen. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Hotellet er helt greit og man får mye verdi for pengene. Sentralt og med gå avstand til det meste. Litt kaotisk frokost og begrenset utvalg.

Compared to what we paid, for a night, there are better options… Check in at the hotel was quick and flexible, but I experienced no flexibility before. We came to visit the match from Man city and booked in advance. The match was rescheduled and we had to book an extra night. The hotel was full (I can understand), but I can’t understand they didn’t allow us to cancel since we were two weeks in advance with the request. It makes it annoying to book two hotels for two nights. I expected a bit more flexibility, since we initially wanted to book an extra night. Breakfast was not good, but it’s included so I didn’t expect much. If you just eat yoghurt and fruit, it will do. (Cappuccino was good though). Location is good, but as said earlier there are better options for the same or a lower prize

The stay was good and the staff was friendly only not at all happy with parking, big hotel with no parking 😀 paid extra cost for the parking

My stay at Holiday Inn Express Arena exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and hassle-free hotel experience. There should be a small refrigerator in the room.

Great location close to arena and shopping centre with plenty food and drink options nearby. Hotel pretty tired. In need of an upgrade. Matress not comfortable and only a double not a king. Air conditioning not working in the room and no windows open so very warm trying to get ready. Stains on carpets and mould in bathroom. Was fine for a short stay however probably wouldn’t return based on our experience.

The service, the room, and the staff were excellent. I only have one complaint about the buffet: the food was good, but the dishes were dirty, which can also cause a health problem. I recommend paying attention to that detail.

No issue with any staff - all helpful and approachable. Reasonable night sleep. Comfy bed but room was so hot. Even turned down to 16 degrees and cold setting just didn’t make a difference. No windows to open. Bathroom appeared relatively new. Clean and had everything we needed. Great size shower! Breakfast was a let down. Had much better in other hotel chains. Kept warm (expected as buffet) which meant it was soggy by the time you got it. It wasn’t even hot. Should have stuck with continental pastries and cereal, but after a night out you want a full English. Coffee machine was disgusting!

First time stay In Manchester the hotel was in a perfect location close to Victoria train station and Tram stations.

Great location but not the best experience. Not enough hooks. Very small minimal room. The pillows were hard. Two days of lukewarm showers. The shower pan would not drain fast enough so it filled up after only one very short shower. Told the front desk three times. We were compensated for our lukewarm stay…thank you. The carpets could use a very deep and repetitive shampooing or even replacement.

All the staff were just great, so pleasant and so helpful and friendly. We stayed here to go to the Arena and we also stayed in the Holiday Inn Express at Birmingham, and both hotels were immaculate and the staff were brilliant.
