Holly Bush Inn

This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. Steak was very well cooked and the homemade fries were lovely. Breakfast was really good - large portions and quality ingredients. The new owners have made a great start and have plans to improve the Inn - I just hope they don’t spoil its unique charm and character (but after speaking with them, I’m sure they won’t!)

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Holly Bush. As soon as we stepped into the pub, we received a warm greeting from the new owners and staff. The pub is at the heart of the community and welcomes a mix of both locals and guests, which makes it a special place to stay. Everyone seems relaxed and happy to chat to each other which makes for a really pleasant atmosphere. The chef is excellent and cooks a variety of dishes which he constantly updates. We were so impressed that we ate there every evening. There was a great choice of well kept local ales. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we slept well every night. Thanks for a lovely stay.
