Holmfield Arms

Just a 1 night stay but room was clean, pub/ restaurant was good (except only one real ale on) and staff were super helpful.

Beautiful building and large room and clean.

Property is lovely however the staff are slow and rude overall, especially in the bar areas

Great place and people, hope to return to Holmfield Arms again when we visit Wakefield Hepworth. Thank you to the all the staff.

Great Place with friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent. No elevator in this hotel. No fridge, microwave or telephone in the room.

A wonderful venue to stay during our break to Wakefield. The Holmfield Arms is our go to accommodation whilst visiting our family locally. The hotel rooms remain very clean and cosy and have the bonus of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Can't fault the overall standards of the hotel

Excellent for a short break, walkable to The Hepworth, wide ranging menu. No lift to second floor, wearing if you are over 80!

Convenient local hotel for last minute stay

Differently will be book this place for my next year visit. Accommodation was clean, i felt safe and allthe staff were approachable.

Check-in was very good - professional, friendly and helpful team member. Excellent location alongside a lovely park and easy access to Wakefield City. Found the room of good size and clean - but quite noisy on the evening of arrival - from the corridor and neighbouring rooms - lasted approx. 20 mins, then OK. Just 1 Bath Towel and 1 Hand Towel provided for 2 people - not particularly an issue, but not ideal.

Comfortable, clean family room with space for all of us. Friendly staff and a breakfast with plenty of options for Coeliacs. Lovely and quiet as the hotel rooms are in a different building to the pub/restaurant.

Great value, nice comfortable room, lovely pub restaurant, food was excellent. Have stayed before and will stay again. Paige our waitress was lovely and really looked after us

Paid extra for a superior room and highly disappointed. Room was adjacent to hotel entrance and stairs, the security door was very noisy with it being slammed open and shut constantly. The noise from the stairs and room above also very annoying. Asked to downgrade to a quieter room but the new receptionist was unable to help. I repeated my complaint in the morning and was told someone would contact me, but never did. I stayed the week before (in a near identical room at lesser cost) and had no such issues. In fact it was quite pleasant do decided to stay again. Will be returning to the area each week for over a year but wont stay here again due to the "Superior" room issues, over charging and non response from staff! Well done Green King!
