We were informed several days ago that the flat we had originally booked was not available and this was the substitution. We had serious communication issues trying to get information from the mgmt. company but finally got a phone call 1 hr before our arrival. The only good thing about the flat was location. I will list negative issues: too small for 2 normal size adults, too dark ,( drapes would not slide open, we told this was for health and safety issues--what B S ). Water in bathroom sink would not drain. Toaster did not work. No sharp knives in kitchenette. There were NO towels in the flat ( we had to walk about 1/2 mile to the rental office in nearby hotel to ask for towels, since the agent's cell phone went to voicemail, and mailbox was full). Double bed too wife for bedroom ( bed against one wall, not enough room to walk on other side. Folding table and chairs in kitchenette blocked walking space to bathroom. With a twin bed, this flat would be OK for single person, but not for a couple. I had researched the flats available, and booked an ideal property--- this was not near what we required. We had stayed the week before in a great one bedroom flat in the same neighborhood-- it was perfect and cost about the same per night. This flat was lousy, and damn near ruined out trip. By the way, we are seasoned travelers, with regular expectations. When we get back to the US I will follow up with Expedia, as I expect reimbursal for this false advertising
