Kew Studios and Rooms

Good location, nearby free road parking. However, the rooms are really dated The single glazed windows did not seal properly and cold wind and noise were coming through. The bathroom was really small and the tab faulty.

Fit for purpose, close to Kew Gardens, friendly pubs nearby, internet a bit spotty at times, quiet area, Kew Gardens Station within walking distance

Check in seamless and a nice secure, comfortable stay. Able to park safely and great selection of eateries (Lebanese, Asian, fish and chips) a 2 min walk up the road.

Great location, room and price

Unfortunately, I had no other choice due to a late booking. This is not a hotel—it's more like a house that's been converted into accommodation with several bedrooms. The check-in experience was not particularly welcoming. The room itself had no soundproofing at all—it felt as if the people in the corridor or in neighboring rooms were right there in my room. The blinds didn't fully close, and the noise from planes passing overhead was very loud (not owner's fault in that case, but this should be mentioned in the listing). One evening, I returned at the same time as the owner, who appeared to be heavily drunk. Later that same night, there was a loud and somewhat frightening argument between the intoxicated owners that lasted for at least two hours. Guests were visibly concerned and looked out of their windows to see what was going on. Would not recommend—best to avoid.

Clean room in a good location. We struggled to lock the window & it was noisey from the tube line & planes flying into Heathrow over head. Nice to have tea & coffee making facilities & a hair dryer in the room. For the price it ticked all the boxes.

Geoff was excellent, accommodating, and everything was as I expected when I arrived based on the posting. I left some ear buds behind and when I called to track them down he answered promptly and returned to the property so I can retrieve them.

An old building with no air conditioning in summer heatwaves. Something to consider when booking this or many places across the country. Other than that, it is a nice location accessible to train station, Richmond and Brentford areas

Room was available from 1400 we arrived at 1700 and was told last tenant did not return the key to our room so they could not gain access was told to come back in 30 minutes also there is a busy train line just outside the back window

This property is in a great location; walking distance from the train. We arrived slightly early , the room wasn't ready but we were able to leave our luggage which was a positive. However, the accommodation is basic, the beds in our room are due for renewal. The noise from the rail line starts very early and is very sleep disturbing.

There was no cup or spoon in room for hot drink. Location was good for my trip

Great studio in a perfect location for Kew Tube station (district line) and Kew Gardens. The kitchen even included a dishwasher!

Had booked an ensuite room for 3 nights Only stayed 1night. As itwas not an ensuite room. That was just the start. The bedroom door faced the front door which was left open at one point. You had to come out the bedroom to access the bathroom which had no external lock so was accessable to everyone. The bathroom window had no handle and was taped shut. There was an electric cable running along the floor which went into the wall for the electric socket,not sure this is acceptable in a commercial property as potential danger. Also lots of cardboard boxes stored in hall/stairwell definite fire hazard as this was the only way out in case of fire. No fire instructions were displayed either. In the room the drawers were damaged and one of the blinds was torn and stained,plus was so thin it was useless. Most of these things had been reported last year when we checked social media. We did not feel safe and hardly slept so left after 1 night. We did not get what we booked and paid for.

The gentleman who met me to show me to my room was friendly and chatty. The room was a short walk from Kew, the local area had good amenities, both of these things were essential to the visit. The bathroom was clean, tidy, had the option to shower or bath, plenty of hot water in the morning! The bed, bedding, pillows were comfortable, fresh and provided a good nights sleep, the room itself needed some work as there were water marks on the wall, wall paper peeling below the window, the blinds provided no privacy, one blind was broken so I didnt touch it for fear it fall off the wall. The fixes to the room are cheap, simple and quick to sort, once completed it would make a stay there very good 😊

Went on holiday for a couple weeks in the UK. This was my favorite room that I rented due to the kind owner and the amenities. The room had a Microwave & Refrigerator/freezer, which is something that all of the other hotel rooms I rented lacked. The neighborhood was nice and it was pleasant able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, train station and Kew Gardens/Palace. I felt safe walking around even when it started to get dark. The room was very affordable too in comparison to the nearby hotel. Very pleasant experience! Highly Recommended!

Great studio, perfect For weekend break

The house is close to Kew Gardens, easy access to restaurants and pub s . The room is clean with a comfortable bed and clean bedding

Room was a little small in size for three people. But overall the experience was good.
