Langtry Hotel

Good parking otherwise a downtrodden and noisey hotel . Every single floorboard creaks loudly . 2 doors down is a hostel where most residents stand outside all day smoking dope .

Easy WiFi connection, bed was clean and comfy, room very clean spacious, easy parking, the staff offered me use of the lift as I use a walker which was a huge help, met two staff members and both were lovely friendly gentleman 😊

Didn't check in due to refurbishment work, bar lounge was shut, no food or drink available. Bad smell throughout hotel, bedroom smelt of cannabis

Not a bad hotel, parking is very tight but at least there is parking. Bar and restaurant mentioned in the description was not open. Bathroom facilities were pretty poor, water trickled out of the shower and the cold basin tap. All in all a good hotel if your just wanting a place to lay your head for a couple of nights I will use again but with lower expectations.

Everything was fine. But if your over a size 18 you won't fit between the wall and the sink to be able to have a shower lol. Very tiny bathroom. But you get what you pay for. Nice and clean. Friendly helpful staff. No hairdryer or fan in the room. So it was very hot in the room.

Hotel was conveniently placed for access to the beach and takeaway food shops

Although ‘refurbishments’ were ongoing - I had no parking space - despite booking. No one at desk to check-in - found ‘Simon’ - (I think that was his name, apologies if incorrect), eating his evening meal in the ‘due to be refurbished’ main hall. He was polite and helpful. Room - bedding clean, en-suite clean - however tired and noisy,(cistern very loud when refilling, and prolonged). Obvious repairs and improvements were made, however, toilet and basin were ‘peach 70’s’ and would have been 100% better if replaced with new white models. Overall - cheap for the one night stay. I would stay again, and whole heartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a bed for the night - NO RESTAURANT, NO BREAKFAST, NO MINI-BAR, VERY LIMITED ON SITE PARKING.

Cheap stay got what I paid for. Man at reception very welcoming an friendly. Bed was really comfy an pillows. Shower trickled out, water was luke warm / cold

Comfy bed and clean and had a good rest. Easy to find and in good location. Needs updating and refurb. But other than that a good stay over.

This hotel is in a great spot the double room was cozy. There is a lift which I really need as I cannot do stairs.
