LSE Passfield Hall - Campus Accommodation

Staying one night at this hostel, i must say i am impressed by the value they delivered. Most notably for their excellent location, very close to euston station, friendly staff and delicious buffet breakfast.

arrived at 14.50 and checked in immediately, however the room allocated was not served by lift and I have a dodgy knee. reception staff went out of their way to reallocate in an efficient and friendly way

Ok, it's cheap, and it's honest about being a student hall of residence but the accessibility issues were simply intolerable. To get to my bedroom in an annex involved going down one floor, across a garden then up five floors with no assistance to an attic bedroom. The bed was crude, the shower worse and the toilet shared with two other bedrooms and with no frosted glass or curtains on the windows. I get that this place is cheap, and handy for Bloomsbury, but they need to be honest about how crap the facilities are, and about the accessibility issues.

Good for price considering the location and breakfast buffet.

Perfect for a few days in London on a budget. Good breakfast offered as part of the deal. Room was warm but there was a fan available.

Very uncomfortable at check in, didn't get told where my room was or how to get there, this was after he'd insisted on my passport assuming I was an international guest and was unapologetic when I stated I am a UK resident. I got told by him to take the lift or my room after I asked him where it was but his colleague heard me say 3rd floor so pointed out the loft doesn't even go there. Paint was peeling off walls, various mismisatched colour of paint on walls. Shower terrible, nothing to hold shower head worked so water splashed everywhere. Shower room and the hallway leading to it was flooded on my second night. Excessively warm given the weather otherwise the room itself was comfortable.

Great for a solo traveller. The rooms do heat up during the day, if that’s an issue for you book elsewhere :) I liked that the showers and toilets were individual rooms rather than cubicles, particularly as the bathroom I used was unisex. Very close to public transport.

For a centrally located place to sleep it’s one of the cheapest around. However the accommodation is very basic. The rooms are small and not in great condition. If you have a room on the third floor be aware there is no lift past the second floor. It was also very very hot everywhere. I was staying during a heat wave but can imagine it’s warm outside of the winter months. The one thing that would stop me staying again, unless I had no choice, was the loud way in which the room doors shut. I can’t understand why such loud door closings are tolerated in a hotel (or student accommodation when it’s not in use). You can hear the doors slamming shut at all hours. Disappointed how little care there is about the stay experience. But do keep in mind the low price for a central London room

I stayed at 3rd floor. The room was extremely hot, so I could not sleep until 4 am. The room and furnitures were sufficient to stay. However, the temperature of room were not acceptable. The window was also not enough to ventilate.

Fiquei hospedada com a minha família por 6 dias no hotel e adoramos!! A localidade é perfeita, dá pra ir andando para vários lugares importantes. O bairro é tranquilo e seguro, com ônibus e metrô bem pertinho. Vários lugares pra comer tbm. Em relação ao banheiro compartilhado, confesso que estava receosa de como seria, mas foi super tranquilo. Tinha vários no nosso andar e não tivemos que esperar pra usar nenhuma vez. O café da manhã é maravilhoso!! Muitas opções. Camas confortáveis. Tudo certo. Ficaria de novo com certeza!

Good price for 2 travelers sharing a room.

I am a repeat customer. When I am passing through London I stay here when rooms are available. It is clean, quiet, and safe. I stayed here in April 2025 and am very happy with the room I got. The people at the front desk are helpful and the breakfast is great.

This is a hidden gem. I wish I could stay there everytime I visit London. Absolutely wonderful!

Basic accommodation, very affordable. Really lovely breakfast

Le principal atout est le prix, absolument imbattable. Mais on comprend vite pourquoi : chambres quasi vétustes, isolation inexistante, propreté juste convenable. Cerise sur le gâteau : on m'a donné une chambre déjà occupée à mon arrivée ! Ma vraie chambre n'a été prête qu'à minuit, 3 heures après mon arrivée, après de nombreux allers et retours dans les étages sans ascenseurs et de nombreux échanges avec le personnel qui ne semblait pas comprendre mon exaspération pourtant largement contenue. Aucun geste commercial de leur part, bien évidemment !

usual friendly efficient check in, bigger room (on ground floor) than normal but noisy as lots of road building work going on round the corner. excellent brekky

Whole night extreme noise from the road in front of the windows wich are really old. It was impossible to find sleep. Room in the basement. 2cm Gap under the door. So we did Not Need light in the room.

During my staying, I have no further comment except one, no sundry shop around, pls prepared your meal or snack before get back to hotel.. The rest ok for me.

My stay was fantastic the there nothing I can say wrong I can say about this hotel
