Clean room, very friendly staff, just 5 minutes walking distance to Central Station, 15 to the Castle.
Their motto “Affordable comfort for everyone” suits well.

Bei unserer Rundreise mit dem PKW habe ich gezielt nach einer Unterkunft mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen gesucht. Revado hat genau das auf EXPEDIA angeboten.
Bei meiner Ankunft bereits stieß ich auf dubiose Parkvorschriften. Das Parken vor dem Hotel ist über Nacht erlaubt. Von 10h bis 18h jedoch nur für zwei Stunden. Dann müsste das Fahrzeug für eine Stunde verschwinden für ein neues Zeitfenster von zwei Stunden. Ich bin als Gast gekommen, fühle mich aber als Sklave dieser dubiosen Parkregelung, da hilft auch das lapidare „dont worry“ des Rezeptionisten (Chefs) nicht. Deshalb ist die Aussage „kostenloses Parken“ absolut irreführend.

The room decor was very tired. The toilet seat was loose, and the curtain had a hook missing. Despite reporting this on day 1, it was not fixed. We turned the radiator on, only to be unable to turn it off. The shower was moldy. On-street parking is only for 2 hours. Continental breakfast was limited, and the milk smelled off. Cooked breakfast included a veggie sausage, samosa, baked beans, and a hash brown. The hash brown was still partly frozen; the samosa was cold in the middle. (A fabulous independent cafe across the road saved the day). The size of the family room was good.

Our double room was very small and had a very small double bed which was so hard it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Also there were no mirrors in the room. My wife was not impressed. The internet was impossible to connect to even with the password. Would not stay here again.

Book because it had a restaurant and bar, but was told closed the weekend i booked.
Out of 4 electrical appliances in the room only 1 had a PAT safety sticker on the plug and that was 4 years out of date.
No safety instructions incase of fire that's should be on the back of room door.
Parking was restricted.
Really don't think it should have a 3 star rating.
Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1, booked another hotel for my second night away.
Someone really needs to go and look at this place before advertising it.

Good hotel and reasonable price, with an Indian feel to it. Nice and clean inside. You can hear the traffic outside some of the time, but its much better than some hotels I've stayed in. The only minor problem I found was checking out in the morning, before 8AM as the reception desk was shuttered closed, and nowhere obvious to put the key, but fortunately there was a man there helping other visitors, so gave the key to him.

This was really poor. The room had stains over the walls and carpet. The room was constantly very warm, we had to use the supplied fan throughout each nights stay. It wasn't possible to have the window open due to disruptive noise outside the hotel. Communal areas had carpets which looked filthy. Breakfast was basically a waste of money. Abysmal. The lack of enthusiasm from the staff was really off-putting. The atmosphere was like a morgue.
The only positive being the rooms were serviced on a daily basis to a high standard.

Very conveniently located for access from the station. Very good value for money and the staff were polite and helpful but not intrusive.
Just a bit tired around the edges and could do with a mirror in the room. There's one in the bathroom but it steams up easily.

I can only comment on my room. Although it was a double room, as it was in the roof of the building one person would need to be small to use one side of the bed. There were two windows, one in the sloping ceiling which only opened a fraction and the other you had to stoop low or crawl to get to. Also the bathroom was very tight. Although I knew that breakfast was vegetarian or continental there was very little choice. The continental breakfast when I was there was two choices of cereal, toast and pots of yoghurt. I wouldn't return which is a shame as it's near to the centre, railway, river and choices of eating places.

Bed was comfy that is the only good point . Black mould in bathroom. Step free access is obly available when reception is open. Staff gave serious attitude when i wanted to come in after 10pm. Could not have gone out for a smoke as the step free access needed staff to unlock. Had to ring them to gain entrance. Iron burns and burns on the carpet had to keep the curtains closed even during daylight as 3ft from street with no nets. Passers by could have seen in the room. Staff gave me the creeps and dirty looks when my assistant came to help me after my event. Handbook has not been updated sonce 2021. Bed has a rip on the footboard. Looks like they are updating bits. Eg the main steps. The rest needs work.
