Travelodge London Greenwich

No air conditioning, fan broken, very noisy car traffic

Next to the Metro station. Staying in summer is impossible, the heat in the room is stifling. There's no ventilation as windows hardly open, so even at night or in cooler days room still is hot. Should have AC

När vi kom fram fick vi aldrig ett rum som vi bokat då hotellet inte hade lediga rum kvar så vi blev istället skickade till ett annat Travelodge-hotell kilometer bort i utkanterna av London (Bromley) som även det inte hade lediga rum. Otrevlig och ohjälpsam personal i båda hotellen som försökte lösa situationen men timmarna gick (vi satt och väntade i 3 timmar sammanlagt) utan att något hände. När vi till sist fick nog och bad om en taxi tillbaka in till centrum, fick vi senare veta att det var vi själva som behövde betala för den (34 pund) fastän det var hotellet som skickade oss till Bromley från första början. Kommer aldrig att boka ett Travelodge-hotell igen, usel service och slöseri med tid utan en bra kompensation då det enda de kunde erbjuda var en voucher för deras egna hotell. Vi fick alltså aldrig tillbaka pengarna för taxiresan som vi inte skulle behöva bli tvingade att betala då detta var hotellets fel och inte vårt.

Not the greatest area. Although it was close to the DRL line into central London the area was a bit shabby and it was no nice restaurants in the area. Wifi had to be bought and the some of the staff were very careless. Although the room was clean and nice the hotel overall had a bit strange atmosphere.

Nice staff. Good value for money. Would go back again.

Staff pleasant enough but weren't able to help much Arrived after a lot of travel and tired Wifi was unavailable and when asking for maps , local info etc didn't have any - very frustrating as we're overseas visitors so couldn't do any research of local area. Bed comfortable enough Just a bit disappointed overall

Budget friendly accommodation with full English breakfast, cheerfully and pleasant staff, clean modern updated room, 15 minute walk to Greenwich, 20 to cuttysark.

Hotel ok. Small room, stuff not available all the time. Sometimes nobody was at reception and you needed to wait a long time before getting an answer

To have a good sleep is a must in a hotel. The room we stayed was very noisy with street noises until 2 AM. Emergency sirens,vehicular sounds etc are just too loud. Hotel should install sound proof windows. The room and location of this hotel are very convenient but again comfort to sleep is very significant for a traveler like me.

Great start to our uk holiday. Great location, friendly service, clean rooms and loved the breakfast. Would come back again.

I had a 2 night visit at this hotel, and i am very happy with it. Room was clean and very nice. There is a DLR station within 100 meters from the hotel, so it was easy and effortless to get around the city. Only minus i would give, was the hotel keycard i received. It did work on my room door, but didn't work at the outside door or the door that get's you to the elevators and stairs that lead to the rooms. I did get a working one when i informed the staff, but those should be tested by the staff before given to the customer.

Very comfortable bed, pretty basic room. Staff were very helpful, polite and hardworking. WiFi awful and you even have to pay after 30 mins only free. Petty detail coming....sachets of sugar in the room are tiny and half empty.....sorry we are used to Spanish portions!

The room was clean and spacious. We had a good night's rest because the bed was quite comfortable. The location was very convenient to us as well.

The staff are very friendly, however the hotel was very poor. Sheets had stains on and you can hear the traffic and trains, very noisy. I would not recommend going to this hotel.
