Hotel Djurhuus

Stay here for 4 nights. There is a sign inform that if you which to change linen just inform them. When did was inform that there are addidtional chanrges. Stay 4 nights and they never change the linen at all. This is a 4 star hotel and they charges for linen change?

I stayed here for almost a week, and the location is a great base for everything I wanted to do in the Faroe Islands. Close to the bus station, ferry terminal, and town center with shopping and restaurants. The hotel is clean and breakfast is great! I also loved having coffee or tea available all day. Staff members are lovely and helpful. The downsides for me were the terrible pillow and tiny shower, and staying on the second floor with loud people above me (not the hotel’s fault they stomped on the floor and seemed to be rearranging the furniture every night). Would definitely stay again (on the top floor)!

Sentralt. Ok hotell. Litt trangt rom. Kunne gjerne vært to stoler på rommet. Ok frokost. Hyggelig betjening. Hyggelig bonus opplevelse med gratis billett til konsert med Brian Adams.

En rigtig sove by der sker absolut ikke en skid.

Dejligt hotel med god service centralt i Torshavn

Le personnel a été très sympathique et arrangeant. La chambre était belle et avait vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner était parfait.

Un hôtel qui nous a comblé, un personnel accueillant, un pdj de qualité, la salle de restauration disponible pour ses clients dans la journée avec la possibilité de se servir thé ou café. Très bien situé, un parking devant l'hôtel et tout est accessible à pied.

The best week!

Good, will be my main place to stay during buisness trips, not overpriced like others.

Fint rom, fint bad, dusjhodet var ødelagt, men kunne brukes. Behagelig seng. Enkelte av de ansatte hverken så på oss eller hilste når vi kom og gikk, og resepsjonen skulle være åpen til kl 22 fikk vi beskjed om, men var stengt når vi skulle ha noe der 21.15. Frokosten var ok, men savnet bacon og speilegg. Greit med parkeringsplasser og fin plassering.

Vi var på vores anden rejse til Færøerne i år - og vi valgte hotel Djurhuus igen, for det er et superlækkert hotel. Rigtig pænt renoveret, venligt og hjælpsomt personale, super beliggenhed tæt på centrum i Torshavn, P lige uden for døren og en rigtig dejlig morgenbuffet. Priserne er efter færøske forhold absolut rimelige. What is not to like. Vi regner bestemt med at bende tilbage!

Dejligt simpelt, renligt hotel. Tæt på byen.

The hotel seemed to be very good value around 200 EUR for a simple 2 bed room. For Americans it was "cosy" and not very spacious, but did not feel like a hostel. All of the staff were very helpful, outgoing and fully multilingual. The location was nice, with the hotel across the street from the coastline, a 2 min walk to the free city bus stop, 5 minutes from a nice lighthouse on a hill and 10 mins from downtown. Parking - there were about 20 free parking spots in front of the hotel; try to park on the right side of the entrance as the driveway on the left side is quite narrow. If all spots are taken, there is a generous size gravel lot across the street and maybe 50 meters going away from town. Note - the front desk staff are often helping other coworkers but a quick ding and they're right there. A special shout out to Jenny, the GM, who was extremely helpful when my flight back to Keflavik canceled (this happens often, 10% of the time for Icelandair) and helped me extend my rental car and stay at the hotel. While free breakfast is served from 7-10am, the dining tables and silverware are avail at all hours. The tap water is better than bottled water. AND they have vending machines if you need a late night snack. Beer is sold at the front desk. Showers also have a rain shower head and a handheld. The windows open for fresh air and the televisions have multiple channels from Nordic countries, including local sport coverage, which is fun. Loved it!!!

Lille hotel tæt på centrum. Personalet var yderst imødekommende og venligt. Morgenmaden var absolut godkendt. Fri kaffe og the hele døgnet. Små værelser. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Nyere hotel. God størrelse på værelse. Manglede skabsplads og mere lys på badeværelset evt over håndvasken. Sød og imødekommende personale.
