Amaryllis Hotel

It is an old building but with everything you need.

The hotel is about 5 minutes downhill from The train station. Room wasn’t clean or being cleaned. The shower was extremely small and the water went from scalding Hot to freezing cold. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. The 2 guys at night were more interested in vaping then helping customers.

We would not recommend this property and would advise doing more research before booking, though it is conveniently located, has friendly enough night time staff, and maintenance staff. The weekday daytime front desk staff was not that helpful or care if you have any concerns. Check in was OK, but basic and not informative. WiFi is very spotty and you need to sign in everyday. They do not offer bottled water, which is a basic and a simple touch for a hotel stay, you would think. Overall quality of the rooms is poor with cheap furnishings, etc. First day, toilet seat came off. After maintenance came twice to fix it, it stayed on but kept shifting. Many hotels can't help a view, but we didn't expect looking at garage and old discarded mattresses. For the rate of this hotel is not worth it! Way over priced! We also would echo the mosquito problem. No ventilation in the bathroom, so the humidity attracts mosquitos, we killed a number of them there. To sum up, not a great experience, poor service and quality, and feel it does not merit the price per night.

Great to be near the train station. Clean, nice staff, A/C - fully functional room. Nothing fancy but great for a comfy stay!

L'emplacement était bien situé! Très près de la gare et de la rue Jean Médecin. La chambre était bien malgré qu'elle était petite. Un réfrigérateur serait pratique. Le personnel était acceuillant.

The entire hotel has a budget hotel look and feel, but costs a lot more. Receptionists are nice, but could do better. Breakfast is paid extra, but you have to walk out and into a separate building to eat. And it's very poor. No meat, no source of protein, mostly cookies, croissants, but at least hey have the basic coffee and Nutella! The hotel is quite noisy. The cleaning staff too is quite noisy. The lift is barely available. 1-2 people fit in and it's almost never available (for some unknown reason - perhaps too many guests using it). The room has a very comfortable bed, nice table and a plastic chair, air conditioning and plenty of space. Nice, but feels low budget. The bathroom is quite small. You will bump into the sink and the shower box if you are trying to use the toilet. The toilet paper is super low-cost thin. This is terrible. Only liquid soap available. There were plenty of plugs for the electric equipment. Overall the entire room is very clean, but the reception area and the halls, the stairs look a bit worn. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants to eat and very close to the train station, a medium walk away from the Jean de Medecin station where you can take the tram to the airport. A good choice to stay in central Nice, but expensive considering the poor budget services available. They could keep the price and offer a lot more.

No fridge , no spoon, no tea station…. Just a place to sleep

We had a very bad experience during our 4-night stay at Hotel Amaryllis in Nice. Our room was full of big mosquitoes. One of them bit our daughter near her eye, and her eye got swollen badly — she couldn’t even open it. The walls were dirty with blood stains from mosquitoes that other guests had killed. It was disgusting and showed very poor cleaning. The bed sheets were never changed during our stay. I had marked them to check, and every day they just made the bed with the same dirty sheets. That was very disappointing and unhygienic. On the last day, the elevator was broken. We had to carry our heavy 30kg suitcases down three floors by ourselves. No one from the hotel offered to help or assist us, even though we clearly needed help. We do not recommend this hotel and will definitely not return.

호텔은 니스발역에서 엄청 가까워요 호텔 아래 작은 마트가 있어요 할랄 식품점인거 같고 저녁 8시까지라 물 사기 편했어요 호텔 인근에 음식점이 몇개 있긴 하지만 여행 다니면서 먹어서 베트남 쌀 국수가게만 가 봤네요 청소너 수건 교체는 편했어요 엘리레이터가 자주 고장 나는 거 같아요 체크인 할때는 멀쩡 하다가 다음날 고장나서 계단 걸어서 다녔고 하루 괜찮다가 체크 아웃하는날 하필이면 고장나서 캐리어 낑낑 거리고 내려왔어요 1층에 안내데스크 직원들은 자주 바뀌지만 괜찮았고 음료 자판기에 물은 2유로 하니 마트 마감시간전에 사시는게 좋아요 미스빌역과 트램 정거장이 가까이 있어서 이동이 편리합니다 해변가까지 걸어서 15분 정도 걸리고 밤에는 큰길임에도 약한 사람 노숙인들이 있으니 너무 늦게 다니지 않는게 좋어요

Atendimento muito amigável principalmente do principal do dia. Localização excelente devido à proximidade da Estação de Trem e da linha de VLT. Recomendo.

Hotel is well situated close to the rail station. Convenient if arriving by train or taking day trips. The tram on Jean Medecin is only a half block away. Room was well-appointed and very clean with good air conditioning unit. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Luggage storage room available. There is an excellent cafe nearby for breakfast. Area was quiet at night.

Good, clean basic hotel in an excellent location. Walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Modern bathroom with rain shower. Comfortable beds and good air-conditioning. Great value for money.

Bathroom is small. But WiFi and AC are both strong. The hotel is good for short stays and it’s clean.

Hotel was ideally placed close to the station and tram link to the airport. The lady on reception was not at all welcoming. Air conditioning was not working properly.

I would definitely stay here again. It was close to transportation and to get around the city

Bien dans l'ensemble. Par contre, bruyant à l'étage au dessus. On entendait les pas forts, le déplacement des meubles.
