Disney Newport Bay Club

The room is nice, very clean, good shower, confortable bed, big TV (though we never use them), but I got an "Upgrade" to my reservation, a room with lake view. Of course we accepted when were checking-in, but the BIG BAD SURPRISE we noticed only at night: the room (n 8249 - compass club) is close to the elevators (lots of them!) and they are VERY noisy! the cables dangling, doors opening, people coming in and out. Impossible to sleep. For our luck, we had antinoise earplugs that helped a bit with the problem. We asked to change rooms and they said hotel was full. Doubt that. Our "original room" was also unavaible. What is worse is that the employee that received us said that we got that room as an upgrade. Looking at reviews of the hotel, I noticed lots of other guests complaining about rooms next to elevators. One of them more than 10 years ago, meaning it's not a new problem. Disney simply doesn't care about its guests comfort. Its possible that this problem affects other rooms in other floors too. So if you have a reservation, make sure to ask for a room far away from elevators.

Un personnel a sympathique et a l'écoute.

Honestly expected more from this hotel considering the price tag. The rooms were run down, dated & dirty. I would’ve expected to at least have water replenished daily like most other hotels of this price. The tea/coffee facilities in room were horrible, not even a decent cup, but instead a shot sized paper cup. The breakfast was like a cattle market. Won’t be back

Stanze piccole, ma ottima posizione

Fica super perto do parque a pé e tem o ônibus que sai de 15 em 15 minutos e deixa na estação do metrô que dá no portão de entrada, é muito prático. O que é bem ruim é o horário de funcionamento da piscina, pois temos que escolher usar a piscina ou ir pro parque. Creio que a piscina deveria ficar aberta no mínimo por 1 hora mais após o show de encerramento, assim aproveitamos o hotel também. Quando se fica neste hotel e compra a entrada pro parque vc tem direito a ir no dia de chegada e partida, se liga nisso e não perca tempo, pode chegar às 8horas e deixar as malas e ir pro parque. Vale muito o investimento!

Very over crowded and wasn’t given a room until 7pm and was suppose to be given one at 3pm

Posizione ottima per accedere al parco, camere molto grandi e comode, fornite di tutto. Personale gentilissimo e servici molto efficienti. Le camere andrebbero però ristrutturate e i saponi e il caffè rimessi ogni mattina.

Polite and pleasant staff, always helpful. Clean restaurants, great choices of food. Nice room, clean and beds were comfortable also were of decent size. Also had Disney characters around hotel in evenings. Overall couldn’t really fault hotel, would definitely stay again!

perfect for a family trip

Great Disney hotel within walking distance to both parks and Disney shops and restaurants. With a club room you get access to their lounge which was great for breakfast and for afternoon tea time.

Designed well

This hotel is in desperate need of a revamp. It’s very tired and dated. The rooms are spacious but they feel very old and musty. The breakfast is somewhat basic, and eating off tiny plates it’s strange. In terms of location this hotel is just a short walk from the parks, which is great. It’s much quicker to get walk than wait for the shuttle.

Room was noisy and dated. Lumpy sofa bed. Hairdryer very poor. Housekeeping entered room without knocking or apology waking up baby wouldn’t recommend. One tiny lift to get to parks

Considering g this is a very expensive family Hotel I was surprised to see no food was available until 6pm. Front of house staff are far from friendly. Had to keep asking for water as it’s only free first day. Had to keep asking for coffee / cups and sugars each day. The hotels is very dated Rooms were not as expected and the photos are very misleading Very disappointed as it was our daughters 4th birthday and we felt very very let down

We have stayed here a few times now and it is getting a little tired but it is still very clean. Staff were very polite and friendly. Easy walk to the parks. Breakfast was busy but we didn’t wait for more than 2 mins for a table.

Das Hotel an sich war ein super Erlebnis und den Preis wert. Wir hatten Frühstück inklusive, es hat sich gelohnt! Gerne wieder!
