Nouvel Hôtel du Commerce

Wir hatten ein sehr schön renoviertes Zimmer. Manche Teile des Hotels sind aber noch nicht renoviert, zum Beispiel der Frühstücksraum - dies hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen sicheren Parkplatz und der Pool ist klein, aber sehr schön zum liegen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Absence de personnel durant plusieurs heures en journée durant la pause déjeuner (Reception fermée de 12h à 15h Absence de climatisation dans les chambres! Absence de mini bar dans les chambres, et pas même un distributeur de boissons ou de friandises à l’accueil!

Dit hotel is totaal vernieuwd, de kamers zijn goed. Ontbijt is voor franse begrippen goed. Castellane is gezellige stad met vele restaurants waar men goed kan eten. Verder kan men hier heel goed de verdon verkennen.

This was our second stay at this well located hotel in beautiful Castallane. The staff are super - helpful and welcoming. The facilities are good with a lovely pool and seating area, and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and being outdoors types having decent fruit, cereals and bread in addition to the normal continental fare was welcome - cooked is available too. A great hotel in a super town.

Hotellet ligger lige i centrum af Castellane. Hotellet er af ældre dato, men er nænsomt renoveret, så det har fastholdt sin charme. Der er et helt nyt og rigtig hyggeligt lille poolområde. Der er kun morgenmadsrestaurant og en god bar, men der er et væld af restauranter lige udenfor døren. Dejligt ophold.

Travelled to the Gorges du Verdon as a family of 4, used to holidays in France, but completely new to this area. We had a wonderful time in Castellane, and this was in no small part due to our choice of hotel. The hotel location overlooking the market square was perfect, with restaurants, shops, water sports activity providers and well-signposted walking trails all within a few steps of the front door. The hotel was an excellent base for activities, with several different lounge and outdoor seating areas to spend time, so we never felt that the hotel was overcrowded, even in peak season. The small outdoor pool was perfect to cool down after a hot walk, but for swimmers wanting to do some lengths, the public pool 2 minutes walk away is the best (and cheap) option. There was plenty of food at the buffet breakfast, with enough variety for our family, and the small bar had a good selection of cold drinks to go alongside their cocktail selection. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and our neighbouring rooms were clean, spacious (especially for France) and comfortable. Our rooms were not air-conditioned, but judicicious use of the shutters during the day kept the rooms cool enough. We booked canyoning and rafting activites whilst we were in Castellane, both of which we really enjoyed. Note that rafting days are limited to 2 days per week (when EDF opens the dam), so book early or in advance. In short, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Located right on the town square. Helpful and friendly staff. Secure parking on site. Nice Breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel with spacious and comfortable public areas and a terrific breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. Castellain is a beautiful place to stay with great restaurants and lots of walking trails. We enjoyed our visit very much. We would definitely stay here again.

The entire staff was friendly and willing to help in anyway they could. The breakfast was both hot and cold foods. Just a pleasant stay with very accommodating people

Hotel is based on the town square. Spacious foyer with very friendly English speaking staff. Reception advised us on activity for the late afternoon and where to eat in town. (April is a bit early in the tourist season and many businesses were closed). Adequately sized and very clean room with balcony view to the Chapel du Roc. Room was heated for our arrival. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Free parking in the hotel parking lot.

I booked one night at this hotel because I wanted a place in Castellane at the beginning of the Gorges du Verdon. I did not expect much from the name but when we arrived we were greeted by a most charming concierge. She could not have been more delightful or helpful. Our room was large, had a great view, there were good pillows on the bed, and the bathroom was big enough to spread out all my bottles. They supplied extra blankets for chilly nights, which we needed. Plus the hotel has its own parking lot and swimming pool. The extensive buffet breakfast was included in the price and it was the best we have had so far in France. All that and the town of Castellane is charming with some good restaurants.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast. Centrally located in Castellane. Comfortable room and bed however the soundproofing between rooms is fairly thin so there may be some noise at night.

Bel arrêt à Castellane. Nous avons marché le sentier de Notre-Dame du Roc à côté de l'hôtel. Beaucoup de choix de restaurants à proximité.

Nous avions réservé une superior room pour finalement nous retrouver au premier étage sans balcon au dessus des cuisines avec un réveil par les agitations du personnel qui préparait le petit dejeuner à 6h du matin. Heureusement que le personnel d'accueil était simpathique mais grande déception pour une chambre à ce prix

Je suis venu pour 2 jours pour faire du vélo dans le coin. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très agréable et avenant. La piscine est un peu petite mais l'espace autour de la piscine est sympa. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Bon rapport qualité/prix même si je trouvais la chambre un tic trop cher.

Hotel trés bien placé au coeur du Village. Parking privé pratique. Piscine sympa et divers petits coins charmes pour prendre un verre ou lire . Tout ceci au pied du rocher portant une belle chapelle . Balades trés sympa a faire au couché de soleil. Personnel au petits soins .
