We wanted to stay within the old town walls of Rhodes and the hotel was an excellent place to locate ourselves. The staff are amazingly attentive and helpful plus offer the services of their golf cart for pick up and drop off at the bus or taxi stand when departing as the old city alleys are too narrow for cars. The room was clean, well maintained and packed with character as you’d expect in such an old historic building and the addition of a coffee machine was welcome along with complimentary water. Breakfast was continental with plenty of coffee and fresh orange juice on request. I found there was a lack of consistent hot water for the shower in the morning but my partner took them in the evening and it was fine. Loved the breakfast and the only thing I’d add would maybe the choice of omelette or scrambled eggs. I can highly recommend a stay here

My wife and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa Hotel for 4 nights with our 4 year old son during the first week of April, when Rhodes was just reopening after winter. The owner John arranged our transfer from the airport and was on hand to collect us from our taxi stop on his electric golf cart for the short onward trip through the pedestrianised medieval city to the hotel. John and his colleague George were extremely welcoming and in the days that followed we were very well looked after by both of them. George in particular as the “morning guy” was our main point of contact. He oversaw a lovely continental breakfast and was available to provide any tips and help us with planning our stay. He very helpfully provided his personal number so we could ask his help via WhatsApp, and generously researched for us the options for a day trip to Lindos, facilitated a late check out on our day of departure (we were presumably lucky that there was no one arriving to take our room later that day), and booked a transfer back to the airport (with a further ride from John on his cart).
