We booked a standard room with a window for two people. The room is very small but worth the value. Staff was extremely friendly. Would recommend.

Hotel comfortable and clean, close and easy walk to go downtown, the waterfront promenade is across the road. Grocery and Food Hall nearby. Only negative was the room doors close hard and students don't know how to turn a knob.

The room itself was nice. However the hotel ran out of parking, also has an abandoned looking building next to it. Staff were nice, but service was slow - waited 20 minutes in line to check in.

If hallway is noisy, can hear it into the room. bathroom on single was very tiny.

We booked a windowless room, which we were actually looking forward to in order to get a darker room for sleep given the sun's hours in July. Instead, the room had a window with a faux opaque image attached to it, that opened into the hallway. It was actually a bit unnerving that the window was there at walking-height of everyone walking past that hallway, we would have rather there just been no window. The shower was small but functional, barely enough space to turn around in.
Breakfast is served 7-10am and had enough to keep most people happy (little American, little English, little European breakfast style). The free parking is available on the backside of the building, we didn't have any issues with it. Staff were friendly.

The hotel was nice, clean, and had friendly staff. Had a drink at the bar, that was lovely. The room itself was very small. For my family of 4, it was a pretty tight fit. Although I think most hotel rooms in Iceland are a bit on the smaller side. No dressers. Small counter in room. Small shelf in bathroom to put things, but had to live out of our suitcases which we had to open and close each time. A bit inconvenient, but doable. Sights in Iceland are beautiful and worth the trip!!

Perfect for a cheap stay after a long flight. Book two nights. One day before you leave so you get to the hotel in time for breakfast then sleep for 36 hours. Smallest room in Iceland but who cares.

Hotel room was clean, and the walk to Laugavegur (the center/main shopping street) is about 10 - 15 minutes. Breakfast is limited, just bread, plain yoghurt, and juice, no warm foods. It would have been nice to have fruit, granola, scrambled eggs/pancakes or such. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, and our stay was good.

We took a basic room and it was what it was supposed to be, basic. No space in the room to walk, very little bathroom, no view and even more the window was on a back street where people works at 7am... you got what you pay for !
The next night we upgraded for a superior room and it was a game changer.

We got a superior room and it was definitely better than the standard room we had the night before. Way more space to live. The room was very nice and comfy. The service of the staff at the reception and lobby was great. Hotel is very well located too.

Location is good. But rooms don’t have air conditioning, not EVEN air ventilation. So during the night to get fresh air to breathe you must open window. During summertime it somehow works but during winter time it doesn’t. Opening window leads to hear traffic noice and you need earplugs to sleep.
When walking outside of hotel I noticed at least half of hotel rooms had opened windows. Unbelievable that Ebookers even has this kind of option to choose!
