Simple and quick check-in. Lovely room, looks newely renovated. Great view right outside the window! The hot spring pool nearby was amazing and super peaceful. Shared kitchen had everything you would need.

We order cottage for 3 adults, it was very small, however it was in a good condition.

An out of the way place near the “pool at the end of the world”. Very clean…quiet…and the road getting there was a beautiful drive!

A unique place and wonderful spot to stay

Très belle chambre et salle de bain, avec une vue sur les collines. Il y a un frigo et un sèche-cheveux. Un lave-linge est à disposition pour 700 ISK, mais il n’y a pas de sèche-linge. Nous recommandons cet hébergement au bout du monde même s’il n’y a pas de service de petit-déjeuner et que le chauffage n’est pas très performant. Il y a un très bon restaurant à proximité.

Das Guesthouse erreicht man nach ca. 90km Schotterpiste durch eine grandiose Landschaft. Es liegt mit Blick auf die Bucht und total ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und kompetent. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Schwimmbad mit kleinem, warmen Becken und 2 HotTubs.

Nice cabin in cool location. Great hit spring just 5 minutes away. Road from Holmavik gets super bumpy. Best for the adventures.

Det var det bedste valg jeg kunne lave...et fremragende sted, hvor sjælen fandt ro, øjnene den smukke natur og ørerne blev fyldt med glad fuglelyd. Jeg vil komme tilbage næste år med familien!

A magical place, we would have loved to stay longer. Very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped accommodation in the most beautiful place we have come across in Iceland. Also all people from the local community have been very kind and friendly to us. Hope to come back, sooner or later

I payed for a stand alone cottage, but was bait & switched a hostel room.

Das Zimmer im Haupthaus war schön eingerichtet, ich hatte ein eigenes Bad. Die Dame vor Ort war unglaublich nett. Sie hat auch betont, dass ich immer anrufen kann - sie wohnt eine Bucht weiter. Die Küche war ausgestattet, mit den notwendigen Utensilien. Der Raum war etwas ungemütlich, weil groß und betonlastig. Ich war aber auch komplett alleine dort - es war also nicht mit Leben gefüllt. Ich war nicht in der Lage meine Tür abzuschließen (kann aber an mir gelegen haben) das war etwas blöd. Gerade weil ich alleine dort war und draußen ein Sturm getost hat. Weil die Straße aufgrund Wetter (Regen/Wind) etwas schwierig zu fahren war, habe ich am nächsten Morgen angerufen, um zu fragen, wie die Lage von den Einheimischen eingeschätzt wird. Sie haben geraten, bis 14:00 Uhr zu warten und ich durfte selbstverständlich so lange in dem Zimmer bleiben. Später kam noch die Dame vom Vortag und hat gesagt, dass ich die Nummer mitnehmen soll und auch auf dem Weg anrufen kann, wenn irgendwelche Schwierigkeiten wegen des Wetters auftauchen. Das fand ich sehr nett!

One of the most breathtaking spots I have ever travelled to. If you like a remote spot this is the place to stay. There is a hot pool 10 mins down the road around the bend of the peninsula. Sky was clear and we were able to catch the aurora as well. Very clean and warm. Easy to find as well :)

Cosy little cottage with 360 undisturbed magnificent views. If you seek tranquility & looking to recharge, this is the place for you. Great host too, check in with no issues at all.

La cabaña esta delante de una playa desierta y en medio del campo. impresionantes vistas!. Las camas un poco estrechas y el sofa cama duro.

Great, remote location. However, we couldn’t access the internet, as no login information was provided. Although right by the water the rooms on ground floor don’t have views.

This is a spot way off the beaten path.
