We were leaving early on our last day and the staff prepared us a breakfast to go the night before. Highly recommend staying here. Very cozy and the food was delicious. The showers were lovely after a long day of hiking and being outdoors.

This was a very unique property in a rural, lovely setting. The rooms were spacious and modern. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was certainly sufficient and included with the room. This was a great stopping point for us.

Clean and staff were nice. The bottle of shampoo in my bathroom had run out when I used it. Maybe an oversight. Breakfast included was a nice touch.

Petit hôtel sympa, relativement bien situé près de vik.
Deuxième séjour ici mais un peu déçu par rapport au premier : propreté du sol de la chambre à revoir, et la sale de bain de notre chambre donnait par endroit des signes d’usure. Arrivé 30 minutes avant la fin du petit déjeuner. Il manquait de croissants !! Malgré tout une bonne option mais les offre alentours se sont étoffées…

Superbe chambre très spacieuse et confortable. Wifi, Netflix disponible. Eau chaude dans la pièce commune.
Hôtel facile d'accès, placé au calme, un peu isolé à 12 min de Vìk et des sites à voir.
Bar et Possibilité de se restaurer mais peu de choix et plats chers.
Petit déjeuner très bien avec possibilité d’avoir des œufs brouillés.
Personnels très sympa.

Great location right on the main highway. Hotel is tucked away far from the street so no road noise. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. We got the room that you could park your car by it so it was easy to get the bags in and out. Dining area had a nice setup and there was also a cozy living room area set up for TV and board games.

Volcano Hotel was great for our group of 8. It was clean and the dining/common area was nice for gathering. Breakfast was wonderful! There were no controls for heat in individual rooms and at least one was too warm. There were some issues with no response to emails prior to our arrival and there was no one to check us in when we arrived but were responsive a while after we messaged. The location was good for getting to Vik and nice and dark for viewing the northern lights, which we were treated to, even from the windows of our room. I would definitely stay there again.

Check-in was easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was a nice breakfast
served every morning, the staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, the yard around the hotel made it easy to see the aurora borialis as the hotel is away from any commercial lights. We all loved staying at The Volcano Hotel and encourage others to check it out.

Close to the town of vik and the black sand beach. Nice that the rooms had nespresso machines, even though we did not use it. Expensive for what you get though: just a basic room and bathroom that is far from luxurious. However, it was clean and adequate for sleeping in. I did appreciate that it included breakfast, but it is a very basic one.

Das Gebäude ist sehr ringhörig. Man hört den Nachbarn Duschen uns das Klo spülen. Es war sehr sauber. Was wir besonders geschätzt haben, ist die Garderobe. Man hat viele Kleiderbügel um die nasse Kleidung aufzuhängen.
Auch war toll, dass man immer Zugang zu Tee hatte. Das Personal ist supernett und macht einen sehr guten Job.

Nice hotel. About 15 minutes drive from Vik. Nothing else around the hotel so quiet. The room was large with a good view. It was very expensive however, and not as ‘value for money’ as some of the other places we stayed on our trip.

Simply amazing! So easygoing and hospitable. Delicious and ample free breakfast. Large and comfortable rooms. Free coffee and hot cocoa all day and night. Wonderful views. Great location. Overall excellent stay!
