The Bonnington Dublin & Leisure Centre

The pool is amazing! Sauna and hot tubs! Not far from everything. Wish the restaurants stayed open later. It’s quiet.

Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung und sind am nächsten Tag nach Hause geflogen. Daher war uns die nahe Lage zum Flughafen wichtig, weil wir auch noch unser Auto abgeben mußten. Die Zimmer waren gut, das Bad etwas sanierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant war auch in Ordnung und das Personal freundlich.

No ac in the rooms, clean but older

Arrived later at night and young lady at desk said no longer checking people in. Said you have to do it on line. So I stand there and book on line. She was extremely rude and then tells her co worker to check us in. Rude to her coworker as well. Last leg of our trip through Norway, Sweden, Denmark and then Ireland. Worst check in experience of all.

The main benefit of this property is that it’s close to the airport. They have signs saying a strict no outside food or drink which was disappointing. The rooms also do not have AC so just be prepared for that. It was nice being able to have a 3 bed room for my group.

Hotel room was okay. Staff members were awesome. Great service at check in and in the restaurant. Food was great as well. Did not think the room had air conditioning and the property was really hot inside. Other than that, solid stay.

Paid extra for a King Room. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom (it was loose and spraying towards the ceiling) We tightened that ourselves, only to find that the tub had multiple cracks and was leaking into the floor and flooding the bathroom. We asked to change rooms, but the man they sent to give us the new keys did not offer to help move our bags and took our keys for the current room. This meant our lights went out, so we packed and moved rooms in the darkness. Our new room, which was expected to be a more standard room, had a roll-away bed in it, as well as the standsrd double bed and twin bed for the style of room. This meant we had 0 floor space. I told the front desk and they asked if I'd like to "Just leave the hotel?" It was 11pm and that wasnt an option, i just asked them to take the extra bed out. "Thats just how the room is sir, we can't remove it." I said I understand these rooms have 2 beds, but there is an extra roll-away bed that is taking up all of the open space in the room. He said that's just how it is. When i got back up to the room, we figured out how to get the bed folded and pushed it to the corner and I called the front desk again, to have them remove the bed, to which they sent 2 men and they finally realized what the issue was and rolled it out. The following morning, after being told a manager would be available at 8am, we waited 30 minutes at check out to speak to someone, just for her to tell us she couldnt refund anything. 0/10

I chose this hotel for proximity to the Dublin airport and the pool. It was convenient for the airport…though still a 20 euro ride away. The pool was ok but they make you buy an uncomfortable swim cap to use to pool. The staff at the pool were very unfriendly. The hotel staff at the desk were nice. Though my key card didn’t work at first so, after I very long flight I had to trudge back down to the main desk with my bags to ask for a card that worked. The carpet in the hallways is gross…very dirty. The room itself was nice enough though the refrigerator did not work. The bag/door man was very nice and helped me back to my room with my bag and made sure to key card worked. He was the best thing about the hotel. The food at the restaurant was decent but overpriced.

Nice place with some parking available but no a/c and our windows were sealed, a fan was provided. Good price. A convenient distance from the city centre.

We were able to check in early. Parking available on the street in front of the hotel. Room was okay but too warm. Window opened about 4" and we had a fan running all night. Close enough to walk about town. They seem to have a homeless problem around the hotel.

Great location just on the edge of the city, staff were very pleasant

We stayed for 3 nights, toiletry items called to front desk were ignored. Instead we were told to remove our do not disturb sign for housekeeping entry. The rules were; no outside drinks or food allowed in the room. The mini fridge was broken and no ice allowed. You cannot adjust your temperature due to no gage in the room. There was a sign at the pub entrance, stating that you could be refused entry do to your dress attire. They did have a beautiful pool and large gym facilities with Fitness Trainers.

There was plenty of free onsite parking which is a huge plus! It’s a bit too far to walk anywhere but taxi/uber is pretty reasonable. Also it’s closer to the airport which was nice. There is a pool and hot tub on site. It wasn’t super hot but it was nice enough to relax after a long travel day. We arrived early so while we waited for our room we had a great time in the onsite bar chatting with the bartender Jed. We booked the wrong room but they were able to accommodate our request to switch and the room was great. Highly recommended!

easy access to everything, very close to airport. clean and comfortable hotel.

Pool facilities were spectacular. Rooms were clean however, we could feel springs in mattress and refrigerator was warm. I was told a warm fridge was normal and was usually only meant for medicine. No way to keep drinks cold. No microwave. They didn't allow you to bring in food to hotel so you are forced to eat high priced restaurants or off site. We found that very odd. This hotel was ok at best, its way out of city so it was a 30 minute bus ride or 20 bucks for a cab ride to city center. Breakfast was expensive and mediocre. If we ever returned to Dublin, I think we will try somewhere else.
