Hilton Garden Inn Florence Novoli

We booked 3 rooms. All were give mineral water on the first day only. Second and third day... no more water. We call front office, they give us on 2nd day. On the 3rd day - we called and they put us on hold for quite some time.... we hung up the phone. I am thinking - only mineral water...

Nice breakfast

Like a previous Hilton airport hotel, the plug/drain in the bathroom sink was faulty. Since this is the second time I have had to remove the plug and put it aside so that the wash basin drains I have marked to the Hotel down accordingly. Apart from this however: Reception was more than helpful very pleasant and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was absolutely superb. I cannot recommend it enough extremely high-quality foods a very wide selection and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever eaten except Coffee. I understand why an automatic espresso machine type thing is used both at breakfast and in the foyer of the hotel but honestly the quality of the coffee was not great and the foyer machine ran out of milk. Given the high standard of the rest of the breakfast it was a letdown. The room was excellent and clean and the area is a university area so the availability of good not fancy food and a general lack of tourists rushing around is a major win for us. Since access to Florence Centre is easy and cheap I would recommend if you don’t want the full Florentine experience of pickpockets, crowds, claustrophobic, overcrowding, and tourist rip-off food! Good service

The experience at the restaurant was pretty bad. Before we ordered, we were told there were 4 menu items that they could not offer due to lack of ingredients. We ordered a pasta that should have had various seafood. We receive, after a long wait, a pasta with no seafood, only olives and a red sauce that tasted bad. The server indicated they did not have the ingredients. The staff failed to tell us this before we received the item. The server was clearly overwhelmed. People sat down but left because they could not get waited on. The bartender was helping run food but he too having a hard time. We had to get up to ask for the bill and no one ever offered dessert or came back to check on our table.

The location and parking makes the hotel a good choice for us. Convenient from the motorway and Pisa-Florence dual carriageway. San Donato tram stop only a few minutes walk away, so it’s handy for access to the centre (appx 10/15 mins) and also the airport on the T2 line. Well maintained hotel. Clean. Tidy. Fragrant. Good spread at the breakfast table. Attentive staff. Bar prices are reasonable for Florence. Thanks to the reception staff for quickly resolving our reservation issue. (Error @ hotels.com). We had all we needed for a comfortable weekend break. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn

Super hôtel avec tt le confort emplacement pratique

The hotel is a littel outside centrum and quiet good but the restaurant should be better and my recomendation is to eat at another place.

It was a short walk to the train where we could get into the center of Florence easily. The hotel was clean and quiet.

The hotel was wonderful. Very clean and offered friendly, helpful service from all staff I interacted with.

Hotel bom, boa estrutura, confortável, um pouco distante do centro, mas com ponto de metrô de superfície próximo. O único inconveniente que tivemos foram os inúmeros pernilongos (black-winged stilt) no quarto que atrapalharam nossas noites lá.

Was great in beginning. Allowed me to check in early. Room seemed fine. But the AC was a disaster. I did not know I needed to contact the front desk to turn on my AC. The first night was really really hot and I barely slept. The second day they came to fix it, but it did not work so they moved me to a different room on the third night. That room was much better and they upgrading me to a balcony room. No one ever notified me that I needed to let the front desk know what I wanted the temperature to be in my room. Apparently they have the main controls at the front desk. Also, the hotel is very far from the city center, so if you are looking for a place that is near the city center, and all of the attractions and restaurants you should not stay here. You can definitely grab the tram if you are in Fine and it is only a five minute walk away. I finally mastered this after the third day of staying there. It takes you directly in the city center, and also to the train station airport. The gym was nice and the room was fine, but the hotel staff did not make any apologies for the issue with the air-conditioning and my lack of sleep. Just be sure when you check into this hotel that you let them know that you want a specific Celsius reading on your air conditioner in your room or else you will be spending many hot nights and days. I did have a cocktail in the bar and the bartender was very nice and made a great drink. I did not order food from the hotel, however.

Very good hotel, close to airport and tram stop. Would definitely stay again.
